Their Brutus Burger is super tasty. Juicy, but with plenty of perfectly charred texture, the folks in the kitchen did well on this one! The ambiance is perfect, not too loud, and perfect for conversation. The concept is dope; go up to the counter, order your food, and grab a drink. Kudos to the bartender on a solid pour of their beer. Have to recommend it! Love that they're hosting a new Little Donut shop!

I always enjoy a good burger joint. This place is a little pricey $$ because the burgers and fries are alacarte. . . I.e. for two of us to get a burger, fries, and drink it was $30 bucks. Not terrible but for a fast casual, that's a little much in my eyes. Still. I like their burgers and always feel full.

Great burgers and amazing service! The only hard part was deciding between beer or a milk shake. I had the red velvet cake flavored milkshake & it was probably one of the best shakes I’ve ever had. Even though this is an order at the counter place, the employees keep checking on you to make sure everything is good, and they are really on top of it. We went in on Friday evening 2/21 and had multiple interactions with the same 3 employees who were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive. Employees this great are pretty rare these days, so they deserve credit for the excellent service and fresh burgers!

Has many unique burgers. Ordered the buckeye burger and was surprised how good it was. Food was slow to come out, and prices are high, but the atmosphere is great, and everything tasted amazing. Would definitely go back again in the future. Accepts buck ID cash.

My son said "We HAVE to go here." and he was right. I had a blue cheese burger and we shared a large onion rings order - which was exceptional. The burger was well cooked and tasted well. The thing I was most impressed with was the customer service we received. I would definitely recommend stopping by and having a bite. I looks unassuming from the outside but is wonderfully furnished inside.

Great burgers! Friendly staff. Happy hour deals are great for the selection of beers they have on draft. I ordered the chop shop signature burger with cheese and was pleasantly amazed by the juicy burger! The fries are fresh and delicious, especially when seasoned with cajun! They have so much to offer that'll I will definitely be back to try some more items!

Came here for lunch with my brother to watch the blue jackets game and it was a GREAT experience! My brother and I got the breakfast burgers and they were the best we've ever had. Our server was Chip and he did an awesome job! He was serving the entire room and was still able to do a great job. I will definitely be coming back here. They also did a great job social distancing and everyone working was wearing mask.

Love this place, especially in the warmer weather when the front windows are open. They have one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had! Good kid's menu and small, but nice, beer selection. Plenty of seating and tasty burgers. I have also had their spinach salad which is pretty darn tasty. I work near here so we often stop in Friday nights for dinner. One of our go-to spots.

One of the best burger joints in Columbus, and definitely the best place to eat on campus. Everything here is absolutely solid. Reminds me of the now long-defunct Graffiti burger. EDIT: I'm pretty sure this place is now permanently closed. Their Facebook hasn't been updated in over 3 months, the phone just rings and goes to an automated message, the website is gone, there's no ability to order online, and they haven't been in operation since December of last year. The owner stated they would reopen in mid-August,but the business remains closed. Truly a sad day for burger lovers in the city.

Chop Shop is a newcomer to the campus area, but don't let that fool you. Chop Shop has an exceptionally well designed, spacious interior with plenty of available seating. There are TVs all throughout the restaurant all displaying different sports channels, but they're understated to make Chop Shop feel like an upscale burger joint as opposed to a sports bar. The burgers are made with fresh ingredients, and it definitely shows. All of my friends enjoyed their respective burgers, especially the Western Burger. I personally enjoyed a Blue Buffalo burger and fries. The blue cheese they used for it was amazingly tasty and the buffalo sauce added a nice balance to the cool blue cheese. Their fries are reminiscent of Five Guys, and are really tasty with the optional malt vinegar offered. Overall I'd recommend Chop Shop for its great decor and amazing value, with a small fry (a very healthy portion), a specialty burger, and a soft drink only being $10. They also have hot dogs, which I didn't get to try, but they appear to be pretty tasty as well, especially if the burgers are any indication.

The Chop Shop has the best milkshakes and onion rings I've ever had. The burgers are great and inexpensive, and the amount of fries you get for a small is almost too much for me. Definitely worth the short wait time for my food. I'll be going back plenty of times.

Best short order burgers on campus. Better than 5 guys for sure, especially because they have a great selection of beer! Fries are better, more options for your burger, and a much nicer atmosphere to sit in and eat your burger. I go at least once a week and love it every time.

This place is pretty good. The burgers by themselves are a good deal, but they rope you in with the $2.50 fries and drink combo, which makes it not such a good deal anymore. Everything is tasty though. The atmosphere is nice and modern.

We were in here yesterday with a party of 8. Super service. Great burgers (and a grilled cheese for the kid who wanted that). Perfect milkshakes. Clean environment. We'll stop back again when we are in Columbus.

Really good food. Personal favorite is the Buffalo Bleu Burger, but everything I've had is delicious. The only reason I don't give it five stars is I think it's just a little bit pricey for the amount of food you get. The burgers aren't huge and the sides aren't either. The quality of the food is great though.

Awesome Burgers and those colossal Onion Rings!!! Wow!! Reasonably priced for the area. Everything was fresh and very tasty! The milkshakes were hand spun and delicious! My daughter had the veggie burger which she absolutely loved! Will def be back!

How have I not hit up Chop Shop yet when I can walk here in 3 minutes and love burgers? Not sure, but I finally visited today and was pretty impressed. To start with, I really liked the environment. The whole area is very clean, and pretty open and informal. They had some good rock music playing over the speakers, and there was just a nice vibe. I ordered the Western burger and fries and had to wait about 10 minutes for my food. The food was really tasty. The burger was extremely flavorful; the bbq sauce, bacon, and crunch from the onion rings complimented the burger really well. The bun was buttery and nicely toasted. The fries were pretty good as well but tasted like they weren't salted at all, so they definitely needed some salt and/or ketchup, which I grabbed. Although the burger tasted great, I was slightly disappointed with the size. I'm not sure what size the patty was, but my guess is just 1/4 lb. I'm not saying that all burger places should only have half pound plus sized burgers, but I think the smaller patty was just a bit overwhelmed by the bun and toppings, which made it feel more like a beef, bacon, and bbq sandwich than a burger. Overall, the food was solid for not too steep of a price, and I really liked the atmosphere.

Stopped by Columbus for a CSO event. Our family was going to eat in the Short North district, but a different event made that area too busy to hit our timeline. We went to the University District and saw the Chop Shop setup with windows open. It was new. The food was good and reasonably priced. All of us liked the buns that they used and the fries. One thing to note for kids - the kids burger is tiny - it worked for my daughter, but bigger kids might need a regular menu item.Overall nice place for a quick bite.
