Alqueria Farmhouse Kitchen

This was a unique little restaurant with an upscale menu. This is definitely not my side of town, so it was cool to explore. It is a cute little place. Kat the waiter was a rockstar. The shrimp appetizer was unique but very good. I thought the drink was a little strong. We ordered dinner - I had the fried chicken with mashed potato and grilled broccoli, which was very good. Wifie had the spaghetti squash, which was a big portion but a bit salty. All in all, it was a good time with good food. They really need to figure out the exit because every time someone left, we got blasted with cold air, and it isn't winter yet.

This elite week was hands down one of my favorites. From the cute and intimate ambiance of the restaurant to the amazing staff, I will definitely be back soon. I checked in and was warmly greeted by Jacob. He informed me on the yelp elite offering and to the bar I went where I met my new best friend, Tom. Tom was also absolutely amazing and was so great at checking in with me on how everything was, which was amazing. Jacob did was well throughout the evening and I can truly say, again, that this staff and establishment are amazing. Thanks for this awesome experience. 10/10

Enjoyed a lovely and delicious meal at this local spot last night. The menu was varied and it was hard to decide on a main. 😀Ended up with the fried chicken and it was mouthwatering and absolutely scrumptious! Brussels sprout appetizer was addictive. Definitely plan to return. Service was perfect and Tika delivered on some small special requests. Highly recommend!

Great spot for a nice dinner. Service was fantastic. Handcrafted cocktails were tasty, especially during happy hour. Appetizers were amazing, the pork belly was unbelievable. Entrees were big portions and the desserts were a fantastic way to end the meal. Overall great experience, fresh ingredients, and a decent price!

This was a new little spot we found in Columbus, and it was a nice place to go for a dinner during the week. We sat outside on the patio which was lovely. We had a knowledgeable server who made good suggestions. I didn't take one of his suggestions and wound up with the scallops which I would skip next time. The fried Chicken was incredible and our dessert options were equally as amazing. I'd recommend the spot and would go back.

My 2nd time at Alqueria, first was a bus dinner, this time for Restaurant Week with my wife. Both times were wonderful! My wife enjoyed an “Orange Blossom” cocktail; delicious but more apéritif sized. My gazpacho and her white bean cucumber “salad” starters were perfectly balanced. She had the salmon cakes, which were crisp outside and moist/well-seasoned inside. I ordered blackened chicken with a herb mascarpone potato purée that we both agreed was amazing. Service throughout was top-notch! Just go!

Apparently a hidden gem— I’m surprised it wasn’t more crowded based on how amazing the food was. Everything we ate was excellent, from the specials (short rib and a garlic shrimp appetizer) to the menu staples like lamb shank and salmon, which was cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to come back and try even more of the menu!
