Review Bonifacio - Columbus

Legit Filipino food! Best food from what we ordered was the carioca. It’s amazingly delicious! “Amazingly” because they made carioca fancy, but it really turned out so good! (Usually, making a dish fancy ruins the authentic flavor.) One important advice from a Filipino like me, to enjoy the variety of flavors get steamed rice instead of fried rice.

Best Philippino food in Columbus! Al la carte menu was perfectly sharable and all food options were amazing! Drink options were relatively strong and tasted really good. Service was great as well :) We had a seat right at the entrance when people came in so we were the first thing they saw but outside of that atmosphere was great.

I've been wanting to try Bonifacio for over 2 years since I only live 2 blocks away. I'm 100% satisfied with my experience. I placed a pickup order, and the order was just being finished as I showed up. The girl at the register, maybe a greeter/hostess, was incredibly kind, smiling, and upbeat. I was greeted immediately, even though there were multiple customers. At this time (530pm on Tues), all the tables were full. As I sat down at the bar to wait, my order was already being brought out by the hostess. The bag of food I received was already smelling so good, and I couldn't wait to try everything. I got the BBQ chicken meal with no salad, vegetable lumpia, and a side of sautéed green beans, which totaled about $20. Everything was delicious! This restaurant is being added to the weekly rotation, for sure!

I can confidently say that this is my favorite restaurant in Columbus. To the extent that they've probably received more of my money than any other place in the city. The food is phenomenal. The vegetable sides pair amazingly with all of the meat dishes (ranging from fall off the bone adobo pork ribs to fire grilled chicken). The staff is very nice: consistently attentive and friendly even when the restaurant is busy (and it does get quite busy)!

Bonifacio had been on my “to-try” list for ages and I am SO happy I finally did! I had the vegetarian lumpia and it was a perfect dish! Crispy and soft and flavorful. Our waitress was so nice, and service was v good. Highly recommended, and I’ll be going back to try additional dishes !

We made a reservation yesterday for brunch. Even though we came during a rush, everything was still great! Our server was attentive and joyful, the food came out fast, and my family and I had a wonderful time. We will definitely come again.

A friend of mine suggested that I step outside the box, and try some different food. And I am beyond glad that I agreed to try some new food. This restaurant was simply amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was great. I will definitely be back. I tried the Sisig meal with chicken , fried egg and salad, along with the green veggie that I had. I will definitely rate my experience and food 10/10. Our server was pretty cool, chill laid he made sure we never went low on water or soda that we asked for

One of my favorite restaurants in Columbus. Whenever I come I struggle not to order two or 3 entrees. For brunch, definitely recommend The Bonifacio. It's so much food, so maybe more than you want for brunch, but it's delicious. For regular entrees, definitely the lechon or crispy tofu. If you know anyone that says they don't like tofu, have them eat this one and it'll change their mind!

This was my second time here and it’s absolutely amazing! I grew up somewhere with a dense filipino population and tons of restaurants, so I was hesitant to see only 2 filipino restaurants in columbus. That immediately faded walking in. food is served platter style and it’s encouraged to eat with your hands, and the food is soo good! pictures is tofu sisig, pancit bihon, and bok choy. We wanted the green beans since I knew they were great last time but they ran out. the server stepped in with the recommendation immediately and I’m happy with it. Also pictured is a lychee martini and ooh bae cocktails. don’t let the ube and egg white scare you away, it was phenomenal! Definitely check out this place!

We came here for a work lunch during restaurant week and it was amazing. It was $20 for a 3 course meal, the food was very tasty and big portions. they have amazing vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. the service was okay but very personable, which was nice. the atmosphere was very cute and homey. It felt like I was at my friends house fr. I had gotten the tofu chicaroon with fried bok choy and garlic rice. the sauce wasn’t my favorite BUT everyone else loved it. I had also gotten the Biko which wasn’t too sweet. My coworkers got the ribs and they were fall off the bone type and they loved them. The carioca was very good if you like mochi. I would definitely recommend this place to try at least once. oh parking is rough but hopefully you’ll get a spot.
