Ding Ho Restaurant

Love this place! Been going since I was a kid,almost 40yrs now. Was sad when location moved,but moved 5m from my job,so now I get it more often 4 lunch. 2day got General Tso's chkn & it was different. Bad different. Used 2b my fav,been awhile since I've had it. Hoping they didn't change recipe. If so,I'll stick 2 my 2nd fav,wor sue guy.Egg rolls still outstanding! Will never stop going 2 Ding Ho!

We live in another state, but every time that we go to Cols, Ohio, we make a point to go to Ding Ho. My favorite dish is Chicken Fried Rice and I love the egg rolls, which have stayed close to the same as they were in the late 1970's (thank goodness!) The Chicken Fried Rice is still very good too. I did notice that it isn't as flavorful as the past and it seems to contain less egg and less bean sprouts. I still recommend this place for dinner or lunch!

Ding ho is a place I've gone to for OVER 40 years. I started visiting when the parents owned at another location and now 3 or 4 generations later the food is the same. What they do good, they do great! The best and biggest homemade noodle wonton. I also would recommend the wor su gai, fine cut chop suey and pork fried rice. Combo plates at lunch include fried rice and egg roll until 2 pm.

Wow!!! This may be the Oldest, Continuously Operating, Third-Generation, Family-Owned & Operated Asian Restaurant in the Country. There is good reason why it’s still in operation, having survived multiple economic downturns, and a pandemic. There are employees here whose entire careers have been spent working here. They have a successful formula and a flavorful menu, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

This place is a diamond in the rough. On a not great side of town, looks run down but this is my favorite place like ever. Do not listen to those who say “Panda Express/other chain is better” they’re full of it. Their won ton soup and egg rolls are nothing short of delicious. The servers are wonderful, they treat you like family. I keep coming back here.

What a great father's Day dinner at ding ho. no one has better egg rolls wonton soup or Wor Su Gai than Ding Ho! Our server tonight was wonderful right on the ball super friendly just a great evening 11/11/2022 Had a great birthday celebration at Ding Ho! Food was fantastic as always and our server Kiersten was on it! Great job!

Ding Ho has been a restaurant pillar on the West Side of Columbus, Ohio since the 1950s. Their food is so delicous. I don't live in Ohio now so going to this place is very nostalgic. The eggrolls are so good, really the standard that I judge all egg rolls against. The chicken fried rice is also a must: so savory, a true comfort food. This visit I was eating vegetarian/vegan, so I got the Buddha Delight (pictured). I'm not sure if it was 100% vegan, but it was great: crisp stir-fried broccoli and savory fried tofu. Ding Ho changed locations a while back, but for most of its history it was on Broad Street, near a motel. For nostalgia's sake, I prefer the old location. The amazing wooden statue of the dragon at the bar stirred my imagination as a child, and I'm a writer now. The new location is great, and the service is always hospitable and nice. I love this place.
