This place has a very interesting smoked pork and cracked black pepper Ramen that was really great. Very complicated and smoky flavor with crispy pork bits and plenty of noods. Great sake selection and Japanese beer on tap. Warm and trendy atmosphere. Lots of attractive people eat here.

Nice outdoor seating. Had gluten free options and gluten free soy sauce. I have celiac and it was safe for me.

If I could rate 20 stars, I would. It was my first time at a real sushi restaurant and I was not disappointed. It being a literal hole in the wall was interesting, but added to its charm because once you go inside the restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. The decor is great, the service is fantastic and friendly and the food is amazing. The sushi was fantastic (I got the Rainbow roll), and the fried scallops appetizer was just as great! It was a little pricey, but worth every single penny. I will definitely be going again.

Absolutely love this place. Best sushi my and my boyfriend have ever had. Every time we go there, there is great service, an amazing food and wonderful atmosphere. When we go we order the amazing steam gyoza and lots of sushi. More on the expensive side but worth it. It's in the alley so it can take a digging to find on Google maps but once you do you will not regret it.

I ordered the kampai roll, which was tasty, but it was 12 bucks for 6 pieces of mostly rice. I was hoping there would be more tuna on top. My boyfriend got the ramen which was good, but tasted like they dumped a bucket of salt in the bowl. The brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing, I will give them that. In my opinion, it's not worth the money. I tried it because of the great reviews, but I probably won't go back.

Delicious food. Friendly staff. Additionally, the server was kind enough to help me identify gluten free options on the menu (Celiac). While there weren't extensive options, the pad thai with shrimp was delicious!

One of my hobbies is discovering new and exciting foods, and Kampai definitely fit that need. Hod kalamari for the first time, and they did it right. The noodles were good, too. A bit pricey but worth it. The server is outstanding!
