Review Chipotle Mexican Grill - Columbia

Toms of staff doing absolutely nothing but socializing amongst themselves while customers are made to order digitally. Good luck ordering if you don’t have a cellphone or your phone isn’t a smart device. Guacamole is brown.

First off, the staff here is extremely rude. They rush you along and if you ask for anything that causes them to have to break from the assembly line they're used to, they get annoyed. While I was waiting in the very long line to be served, I saw the cashier ring up orders and receive give/cash...then she proceeded to use the same gloves to prepare orders. Yes, she used the same nasty gloves in the lettuce and cheese. When I asked another staff member to let me speak to the manager, it turns out it was the manager that was engaging in that behavior (slim girl with long braids and bad attitude). I told her she used the same gloves for the money and food and SHE LIED and said she didn't. My sister who was watching as well said, yes you did we both watched you. She then flippantly said, "sorry". I reported it to corporate and they offered me a free burrito. They don't care. Buyer BEWARE.

This was my wife's food today. This is terrible! There was NO effort to make it right. Bad form, Chipotle of Harbison. If someone in the company reads this, please reach out. I would like you to make this right. I don't even know how this made it out of the kitchen

Awful experience here. I tried to order on the app and it only let me use Apple Pay. So after perfecting my order, I find out that I can’t even purchase my order because I don’t have Apple Pay. So I have to call the store, and it’s an automated call order. This is just super inconvenient. I get to the store, and they not only tell me that they don’t have my order, they admit that they didn’t have any phone orders ready…. I tried to make this process easy with what options they have available and they made it nearly impossible. I’ve not only had trouble ordering, I’ve never had to wait this long at a restaurant like this in my life. I wouldn’t mind driving an extra 20 minutes just to go to a different chipotle

Anybody else notice Chipotle pricing has jumped about 50% in less than 5 years? Delicious meal today, friendly staff here too. Review is solely for the price gouging going on. Just paid $15 just for a chicken bowl, chips and guac. Part of that is Biden's economy, but someone is being greedy somewhere

My husband and I had a burrito and bowl today. Both looked very good, the ingredients looked fresh and high quality, however the taste was more than lacking. The white rice tasted like it had no seasoning or salt in it at all. The chicken was lightly flavorful but not enough to give the dish flavor over all. This isn't something we are used to at Chipotle. The restaurant was also quite messy / unkempt. I'd give a pass here if they were remotely busy however there were maybe 5 patrons in the restaurant other than us today. I hope that this was just an off day and not a regular occurrence. We don't visit Chipotle often as it's out of the way for us usually, but we look forward to our visits when we're able to eat here and today was just disappointing.

Really disappointed. We was three guys around 4 pm and the place was empty. After that we waiting five minutes before somebody to come and services us. All the people working there was listen music and talking loud at the back. Finally one girl come and tried to put her gloves around two minutes. On the top of everything she never listen what I’d say to her. Obviously because she was busy talking to another guys. Never come again at this place.Really disappointed.Ciao 🤌🏼

They have a new woman working there (small, older white woman) and she SPRINKLES the rice and chicken on your bowl. Just skimping on the portions. And when I asked her for more chicken, she said it’d be an up charge in my total but I’m not even exaggerating she RARELY put chicken on my bowl. How are you gonna charge me extra for asking for more when you’re giving me half scoops? Lol. The man who finished off my bowl did a really good job and was sweet and the woman who rang me up was just a sweetheart. But as far as that first woman, she gotta stop being so stingy with the meats and stuff, chipotle makes way too much money for that.

Food was yummy!! I ordered a chicken bowl and asked the server if I could have extra rice and i was given the nastiest look. I’ve been to this location several times and I always see my to get this guy. I pray my next visit, he’s not working because he isn’t very pleasant!!!

Had a great experience here. I was the only one in my family to not order the pork. When I casually mentioned I had never tried it, one of the waitstaff came up to the table with a small sample. Now I know how good it is! But all of the waitstaff was just very kind and helpful.

Loved it. Our first time there & didn't know how the choices were made. The gentleman explained everything and was patient and professional. It was fast food done well.

First time at a Chipotle. How do they compete with Moe's? Overpriced, no military discount, no salsa bar, the worst Queso ever. I am truly disappointed in this chain. Place was packed but no one has a smile on their face. I should have guessed I'd dislike this place being next to $30 Starbucks coffee.

I loved the food, I eat there at least three times a week. Eating at Chipotle since 2010. My fav is a white rice veggie bowl.

Always good. My friend and I come here alot. I couldn't ask for a more nutritious tasty tasty meal.

My husband and I go to chipotle a lot. We frequent this location because it is near our home. Frequently we are shorted on food compared to our experience with other chipotle locations. My husband used to say something but the staff was so rude the few times he tried that we no long attempt to correct the problem while in line. My husband will no longer eat here but I still do. This evening however my bowl was barely half full. This irritates me on several levels. Rice and lettuce are hardly expensive items and I barely had any of either. I like the food but the service is making me consider going elsewhere with my money.

I'm a big Chipotle fan, and regardless of where in the country I am, the experience is usually consistent. Unfortunately this location falls a little short. It wasn't crowded but the service was very slow. The cashier couldn't figure out how to properly charge me for the two items that I ordered. The food wasn't on par with the norm either. Serving size was a little light and freshness where it should be.

When we walked up to the restaurant there was a sign welcoming us apologizing for being out of lettuce and sour cream. Don't get me wrong, it takes more than just lettuce and sour cream to ruin my appetite for eating there. Those are only two ingredients (although they are important) in the recipe for disaster they call Chipotle on Harbison Blvd. Being out of lettuce, sour cream, "responsibly sourced pork", and tomatoes while the employees sat in the dinning room talking. My wife and son wanted to try it so while they waited in line, I watched the staff. Still had employees chit-chatting in the dinning room, a customer came up to one of the employees and let her know they were out of sweet tea while she did nothing as the customer walked away in disgust. SWEET TEA PEOPLE!!! Something you don't run out of in the South. EVER!! There are probably four grocery stores within reasonable reach of this location and two other Chipotle's in the Columbia area that they could have sourced products from. Back when I worked at Kroger, if we ran out of something, it was not beneath anyone to go to a competitors store and buy it off the shelf and hand it to the customer for free and apologize for not having it on hand when they needed it. That is customer service and going the extra mile. Something the management and staff at this Chipotle could take a lesson from. If they can snap out of their contentment in laziness long enough to realize that this cookie is crumbling around them. Won't be back!! Rather go to Moe's where customers are welcomed as soon as they walk in the door.

I get my food and ask for limes. I get a cup of them and sit down to eat. I return to ask for more limes and now I'm being told they have no limes.... Seriously, this is what you call costumer service?

Best place to eat! U need to get to augusta GA. I have to travel all the way to Atlanta GA or Columbia SC just to indulge! You have a huge military and college city here. At Chipotle right now and received the skimmpiest chicken bowl ever :( Jennifer and I always split because it is usually so much. This time, barely enough to feed the both of us.

My favorite Chipotle to visit other than the location in Atl on Piedmont. They always exceed my expectations, and it felt like home at this location. Even with a Starbucks next door, they always made room for there customers!
