Cook-out

Is zero stars were an option, I would give it that! We literally just left there, and after a long day of work and not wanting to cook tonight, we decided to eat at The Cookout. For starters the woman at the drive through was very unprofessional. We had to turn around because she forgot one of our drinks, she asked for our receipt as if we didn't JUST drive off. The receipt that she had given us wasnt even our receipt. She finally gave us the tea and slammed the window, no apology or anything for the inconvenience. Its so disappointing how bad customer service can ruin everything. Fast forward... we get home and the burgers were soogy and there was no cheese, or any of the other ingredients I asked for on the burger. It was just awful!! I will never go back there.

The experience starts when the person takes your order. When asked for my order I should only have to tell them once and not three times when I speak very clearly. There should be no attitude or negative tone in the order takers voice. Their demeanor should always be cheerful. Mine always is. It's extremely hard to find a manager who trains their front staff with those qualities. This has always been an issue with me at this location and many other fast food joints in this town. Really sad. Food is okay. A little pricey but cheaper than Piggy Park for sure. This location used to be my favorite.

The burgers came out overcooked and hardly had any sauce on them. The barbecue chicken sandwich that I received was burnt on the edges and dried out and once again there was hardly any sauce. The precious thing about the whole meal were the two corn dogs at my daughter received. For the amount we spent it was definitely not worth it
