Such a pretty place with nice people and good drinks! Loved the atmosphere. The drinks, while taking a long time, tasted amazing! Although I don’t particularly LOVE boba, they actually made me enjoy the drink I had (with boba in it!), so go JJ Tea House! Overall, beautiful little place and will come again to try more things!

The place next door had a forever long line and we decided to get Boba and lunch here instead. That worked out great! My daughters loved the Boba teas, and they have a 2 for $5 special on those. We got fried rice, which was excellent and tasted very fresh. Loved the boxes the meals came in and wooden spoons included. Personable staff and fantastic experience. There is a little limited seating outside, but otherwise currently it's take out only.

What happened to this place?? It was my favorite food in all of Columbia for the longest time until about 2 months back. I understand cutting your costs but not at the expense of serving MUCH worse food. I got my go to about 2 months back and it tasted, let’s say, ‘funky’. Whatever. Bad experiences happen at every restaurant from time to time. Well then I went back the following week (I’m telling you, this place used to be amazing) only to have another dreadful taste experience. I mean the food doesn’t even look the same anymore, much less taste it.
I waited about 6 more weeks before returning again, and then tonight I finally decided to brave it one last time. Not only are the portions now smaller (even the to go box has shrunk) but the food itself was unbelievably horrid.
After all this time, I’m very sorry to say, it’s time to find a new ‘favorite’ Chinese place in Columbia. Goodbye JJ’s and thanks for the memories.

I love this place!! Every time Im in the area I make an extra effort to swing by this place! I always get a different fruit tea and i’ve never been disappointed. The decor is super cute and there’s some outside seating for those that get food. This time I got a Peach green tea w/bubbles - very delicious! Highly recommend you check them out!

Best place for boba tea. Their rice cakes are good too. And if you want fresh juice, this place is great. They use the fresh fruit and not the frozen ones. Their food is good. But I would go to this place for boba tea, jelly tea and fruit juices rather than other things.

Order the Taiwanese style popcorn chicken and the pork over rice which were both very good. I order boba bill tea and the mango green tea! Loved them both. So happy columbia, SC has a boba place to go to. While living in California for a while there are unlimited boba tea places you can go to with friends. So coming back to the SC to visit it’s good to see SC expanding.
The workers and I’m guessing the owner are all very friendly and nice. Great customer service! Highly recommend studying here and or going to grab some milk tea or a quick snack with friends! Will definitely be back.

Wide variety of food and drinks at a reasonable price! We had the crispy cutlet chicken over rice and the wonton soup - both were very tasty and came with plenty of food! We also had the popcorn chicken to share - which was also tasteful and had plenty to share, as well! The owners were very nice and the food and drinks came out at a reasonable time even though they were a little busy!! Highly recommend!

The entire staff is so nice - especially the owner! I had the beef broccoli rice dish with mango green milk tea with boba - the food is so fresh and the drink is just perfect (not overly sweet). Would recommend!

Delicious, quality, and quick food that you can tell has both authenticity and care. The large selection of drinks gives you variety of choices, but you can’t go wrong with the original milk tea. Would highly recommend!

The staff here is so friendly and the food is amazing! I have tried all of their green teas and every single one of them has been amazing. I personally enjoy the vegetable fried rice, but no matter what you get from here it is going to be good! One of my favorite places to eat in Columbia.

We tried JJ Tea House for the first time today and were so impressed. The food is fresh and flavorful with a great variety of dishes to choose from. The wonton soup was light yet super filling and perfectly warming on a cold day. The popcorn chicken came with rice, steamed egg, and green beans and everything was really amazing! Beef noodles with jalapeno gravy is basically Lo Mein, pretty tasty for what it was but compared to the other dishes it was just okay. Portions are very generous - we took home enough for another meal. Now I want to try the milk tea. We’ll be back soon!
