Jj Tea House

Such a pretty place with nice people and good drinks! Loved the atmosphere. The drinks, while taking a long time, tasted amazing! Although I don’t particularly LOVE boba, they actually made me enjoy the drink I had (with boba in it!), so go JJ Tea House! Overall, beautiful little place and will come again to try more things!

The place next door had a forever long line and we decided to get Boba and lunch here instead. That worked out great! My daughters loved the Boba teas, and they have a 2 for $5 special on those. We got fried rice, which was excellent and tasted very fresh. Loved the boxes the meals came in and wooden spoons included. Personable staff and fantastic experience. There is a little limited seating outside, but otherwise currently it's take out only.

What happened to this place?? It was my favorite food in all of Columbia for the longest time until about 2 months back. I understand cutting your costs but not at the expense of serving MUCH worse food. I got my go to about 2 months back and it tasted, let’s say, ‘funky’. Whatever. Bad experiences happen at every restaurant from time to time. Well then I went back the following week (I’m telling you, this place used to be amazing) only to have another dreadful taste experience. I mean the food doesn’t even look the same anymore, much less taste it. I waited about 6 more weeks before returning again, and then tonight I finally decided to brave it one last time. Not only are the portions now smaller (even the to go box has shrunk) but the food itself was unbelievably horrid. After all this time, I’m very sorry to say, it’s time to find a new ‘favorite’ Chinese place in Columbia. Goodbye JJ’s and thanks for the memories.

I love this place!! Every time Im in the area I make an extra effort to swing by this place! I always get a different fruit tea and i’ve never been disappointed. The decor is super cute and there’s some outside seating for those that get food. This time I got a Peach green tea w/bubbles - very delicious! Highly recommend you check them out!
