Upper Crust

The waiter Haden was the only good part. My brisket was awful and dry. The communication was not good either. We tried to get info to rent the patio and never got a reply. Our party was split and told we must all arrive together in order to be seated, that would be fine if we hadn’t seen other parties seated without the same rules as other people joined their table later. The menu was lacking quite a bit. I would not recommend the place to anyone ever. The food definitely looks better than it was.

It has been a while since I've dined at Upper Crust. The shrimp and grits topped everything on the menu and even reheated well as I brought the leftovers home. Please offer the shrimp and grits as well as other grits entrees weekly. I dined here for Mother's Day and stood in line waiting for the restaurant to open at 9. We were quickly seated once the doors opened. While seated, I saw many customers receiving their meal, however, no one approached our table for drink orders, so we asked about a waitress. The waitress apologized for not knowing someone was seated in her area--20+ minutes later. Overall, the meal tasted exquisite and reflected on our check--$115 for a family of 4. For brunch, be prepared to spend an average of $15-$18/entree & $4 for sides. I do suggest developing an organized system for dispersing food to the tables. We received the sides before the entrees. By the time I received my grits, the rest of my family was nearly done eating.

The assistant manager was rude, but everyone else was nice. Antonio was our server and he did awesome! The special mimosa and the strawberry mimosa is by far the best mimosas I have ever had! Freaking amazing 🤩. The Hangover cure was really good. Wasn't feeling the hash brown casserole, but the crispy tots were fantastic. She had the Belgian waffle and that was one of the best we have ever had. Spent $130 between 3 people

Brunch was really good,was really impressed with our server she remembered everyone order without writing it down. Would of gave 5 stars but it was 8 of us and waitress never asked if we were paying separate so she put all orders on one ticket and refused to separate them saying she would only accept two payments.

I’ve never experienced any type issues with ordering or replace something I didn’t agree on as the customer in any restaurant. The food wasn’t worth it and the supervisor/management (not everyone) customer’s service skills were extremely rude. She did not offer any refund or replacement for my meal and that was my first time there . 0/10. When I called I told her that all my food was over done and burnt but she said that “it’s just how it is” and that it’s caramelized sugar that’s why it’s burnt . Worst part of all is that I drive a hour just to experience bad customer service and burnt food !!!!! Tried the brunch at Upper Crust today after a recommendation of a friend. The wait was a little long but no more than expected. A great place with some different bakery items that are unique to them. From the cinnamon rolls to the varied brownie offerings you better get there early because they go fast. The pizza is different and very good. I recommend build your own. Our server was Sharona who helped us build an excellent mixture of toppings creating the most savory pizza I’ve ever had. Great Place, great service!
