Simply put, I am a food snob. People who know say I could be a food critic. I love what dining represents; a way to build business relationships, a way to share or embrace other cultures, a way to enjoy the company of old friends and new friends, a way to share a romantic evening - I love the possibilities and I love that the Colts Neck Inn can deliver on many levels! The Colts Neck Inn is the perfect cross roads and offers locals a place they can call their own and Visitors a memorable experience. The food is on par with the best of the best NYC restaurants. Their menu is creative, portions are generous and the steak rivals Peter Luger. Additionally, management and staff are warm, friendly, accommodating and professional. JP makes you feel welcome and he cares about every detail.
Loved the place. I regretted having to come home there were so many other entrees on that menu I wanted to try., My Rib Eye was wonderful, and the Scallops (i won't mention because I shouldn't be eating shellfish) were divine, the Bread Pudding out of this world. The servers great and the atmosphere perfect. Hopefully I will get back to that part of the country soon and guess where I will be going.
