Usually I will cook my own biryani dishes but that time, I came from work so decided to order again from them. The menu are great but its on steeper side. I tried to like it but the price is not reasonable in comparison to taste. Its not as authentic as I can eat back when I was in middle east, I get it, but at least make my order right and I know the inflation is affecting all of us but instead of being apologetic, why need to be defensive and prejudice and say I am new in states? I called for order, and I got hang up 3x. I know it takes time for food to order so we came back, its not the first time I ordered in your restaurant by the way, and the second time, again, another mistake of not including my karachi sauce. I do understand the shortage and honestly, I don’t wanna make a lot of fuss about it but seeing the owner’s reply is just demeaning. I was constructive with my review and nothing bad intentional words I was saying.

Lacking transparency and questionable practice? LOOK at your receipt before paying! They charged an additional 18% for a family of 5 (never mentioned it to us and extremely atypical for a restaurant to do this)…despite mask mandates being lifted and restaurants giving ice water for free, Gul Naz offers you bottle water as an option…the young man won’t tell you unless you ask, and find out that each costco/nestle bottle is $2. The food is great but the value of coming here is substantially lower because of the above practices. The experience was very similar to staying at a hotel and seeing all the hidden resort fees. Hope the owners will change their practice and improve on transparency (honesty).

Great Pakistani food however it is definitely one of the more expensive restaurants. Another issue I have is that when they get busy you get places on hold and then the phone hangs up. It's pretty infuriating waiting 15 mins and getting hung up on. You can see the rest of the other reviewed comments and see that there are some slight issues that diners should be aware of. 20% surcharge on 5+ diners rather than 4 and no free tap water or outside beverages. Workers are always nice but the place definitely suffers from understaffing.

Savory, wholesome, filling meals! Lots of plant-based options. The meats are always tender. I've been here multiple times throughout the year, and they never disappoint. The service is always kind, and the seating is ample. The freshly prepared meals may take a while to cook and sometimes the place gets crowded. They take phone orders to go though! Overall, lovely place.
