We stopped here while on our way back home (a few weeks back in early October). We spent a lot of time here since our flight kept getting delayed because of weather, and "the sisters" who served us (one tended bar and the other was our server at the table) were amazing and so was the food and beer selection! They even ended up keeping the bar open later since our flight was stuck waiting for better weather.
I had the turkey club (it comes on amazing marble rye bread). The sandwich was perfectly balanced in terms of the ratio of ingredients they used. It went perfectly with the (many) Avalanche beers I ended up having.
My wife got the Harvest Salad and loved the pairing of the dressing with the dried fruit.
This might be the best meal we've had in any airport and we'll definitely be back here next time we're in Colorado Springs.
Breakfast burrito was good. Had a Jack and Coke but it was flat , the nice lady switched it out for me for a bud light which was half the price. Glad we came to an agreement on my 1 drink discount from a $18 Jack and coke that I could of chugged in 2 sips to. $9 bud light. Now that I know the prices which are not listed on the menu I will not be ordering another Jack and coke. It’s not about the money. It’s principal that you don’t need to charge the price of a whole bottle of Jack for 1 glass that has 1 shot in it. Lol. That standard across this airport. Not the employees fault. I can tell she was slightly flustered. I hope they give her a raise.
Our server Katrina was tending to the entire restaurant with a smile and positive attitude. Our appetizer of fries came out really quick after ordering and our craft beers were a great addition to our snack while waiting for a delayed flight.
Yup. I’m reviewing airport food because people need to know if they should spend their money here while waiting for their flights!
I was honestly surprised by the low reviews. We had a great time. Katherine was good to us.
Had a layover so we decided to get food here because it was close. We were skeptical because they only had 2.5 stars on Google. They had just basic airport food but it was good. Had a nice few of the mountains and the service was fine. Definitely your average airport food but I have had a lot worse. I’d recommend it.

My friend and I were traveling from Colorado Springs airport back to Vegas on October 29th on a 9pm flight and were pretty bummed when we found out almost all of the food options were closed for the night. The only thing open was the Mountain Vista Grille and Bar, so that's where we went. We were having a hard time finding anything to eat due to our dietary restrictions (she has a gluten allergy and I am a vegan), but our waitress, Teresa B went above and beyond! She was so sweet, attentive, understanding and did everything in her power to make sure there was at least SOMETHING we could nibble on before boarding the flight. She could have just shrugged her shoulders and left us hungry, but instead she tried rounding up extra celery, dips and even a fruit cup (that was not on the menu). Service like that for picky eaters at the end of your shift couldn't have been easy, so I just really wanted to make sure she got a shout out, a gold star and two thumbs up: Thanks Teresa, we appreciate you, and hope your managers know what an asset you are to their operation!

The views are breath taking.
Didn't have a drink. I see many complaints about bar.. my food was standard to better for airport food. Ambiance nice. Service quick enough. Check out very quick (as it's an airport).
Typical airport price for food and drink. Showed up at 1pm. Not busy. Service was quick. Food was good. They had a buy on get one free drink special. Awesome view of the mountains.
