I have been to lots of local spots, and I love a good dive, and this is a very, very good dive. It was honestly hard to leave because the staff was friendly, the food was amazing, drinks were cheap, and we have a scare was phenomenal. I’ll be back a lot.

Best larger dive bar in the Springs. Solid food and service. Atmosphere is great and airways a good time. Love the wings and sliders. Great place for sports and affordable drinks.

Perfect dive bar atmosphere including a pool table and ski ball. Service can be a little bumpy on the shift change but I get the impression they make these choices to keep it cheap. Happy hour drafts are around $4 and the food is great. They used grass-fed beef in their burgers and the jalapeño poppers are super yum. $1 taco Tuesdays are great but will sell out.

Delicious Burger and onion rings..quality tasting meat, lots of bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and sliced onion on a high end bun. That's my kind of burger! Yummy! Thanks Benny for letting us watch the Arkansas game too!

I would say the people are what makes this place great but the food is good too - plus, when Rocky Top is playing as you walk in - well, that just makes it outstanding! 🤘

This place is wonderful! The prices are great, the staff is friendly and wonderful. And oh my gosh, the triple BLT. That thing has ruined me, it haunts my dreams with its wonderfully portioned bacon, tomatoes and bread. It's delicious flavor and perfectly cooked bacon. I don't even like tomatoes but I demolish this beauty every time. I wake up starving daily for it. Do yourself a favor... Get one.

What a charming little dive. Tasty burger. Prices on drinks are excellent. Bartender called me by name. A regular there bought me and my friend a shot. There’s a place where you can smoke your cigarettes and bring your drink with you. 10/10 will drink there again.

There are two times when visiting Benny's is a must. On Tuesdays for their tacos ($1 a taco beef or fish ) and whenever they have a band playing. They also have a patio in back that looks over the alley and Cheyenne mountain so all in all not a bad place to make your hangout. Which many people do and have for 70 years.

I observed the bartender being super nice to the "regulars", high fives and going out of her way to serve those who she knew well. However we were ignored and when she finally acknowledged us we were greeted with, "I'm not coming all the way over there to serve you! So if you want something you better order at the bar." Now mind you she had just walked the same distance to high five her regulars! When we did go to the bar to order, it took us a minute to get our order together and her response was, "I don't have time for this shit!" I do not recommend this dive bar to anyone. Unless, of course, you want someone to act like it's a chore to do their job!! The bar staff is rude, rude and more rude.

Attitude People. I went to see one of the best guitar players ever, Teddy Galloway and it turned into a nightmare. After spending an hour in the facility without a drink I attempted to chased down the wait staff who are very elussive. Mind you these people have no idea who I am. I decide to grab a table that opened. Holding money in my hand the waitress came in the area three times without approaching me. I decided to go to the bar. Half way to the bar I turn around to see someone sit at my table. At the bar I am again looked dirrectly at, as being passed by. It wasn't until I used an abrasive EXCUSS ME that I was given attention. I asked for a glass of water. I will not chase someone down and yell at them to aquire CUSTOMER SERVICE

Tried to like. Having been there several times (everyone get a second chance) I have to give it one spoon. The staff is rude the food marginal and priced too high for the quality, they do make up for it in quantity though. Having gone primarily for the musical experience I will say Tuesdays a far better quality of musicianship, though far too loud as is Thursday Friday and Saturday.

Good food is all.. Several times I tried to enjoy Bennys but even though the food was good, the bartender was rude, the music on Tuesdays was too loud but at least bearable, Thursday's the music was too loud and absolutely deplorable.<br/>I will never return and will tell others of my experiences. If less than one spoon was an option Bennys would get that rating from me.
