I love this place because it is a quaint, quiet neighborhood mom and pops coffee shop. The coffee is quite good as is the food. They've also got locally made / sourced goods which adds to the appeal. Perfect stop for before or after a visit to the Bear Creek / Cheyenne Canyon area.
20 minutes of happy!. We were out and about for our anniversary yesterday and decided to stop in at Sacred Grounds for a late afternoon snack. Natasha was happy to chat for a moment or two with us about the anniversary and our travels! We chose homemade tiramisu and a newly discovered treasure called "honey cake"...adding a couple of glasses of an Italian pinot. We headed for a table for two out in front to soak up a few minutes of fresh air. Toasting to us...we enjoyed 20 minutes of mellow happiness and a little peace. For $27 plus a tip, we left there perfectly satisfied and happy. It was one of the highlights of the day. Then we headed over to Starsmore to snap a few pictures of the hummingbirds.
The food was outstanding! We had breakfast. The pancake was the best I've ever had. The staff was friendly as well and the atmosphere was very cozy.
Such a quaint little find! Has a clean European flair that is inviting and warm. The drinks and lunch menu and desserts are all made from scratch on location. We ordered a couple of coffees and a smoothie and they were excellent! The brownie was also yummy and a nice touch! If you're in the area and looking for a place to relax, this is a great option near Cheyenne mountain. The outdoor seating is also a great place to spend time with friends during nice weather. Certainly an excellent find!
Solid venue for some simple cafe goods right by a bunch of great hikes. If you are going to be going into the Cheyenne Park area, this is a great spot to stop by and grab some food.
Essentially, the food was great, but I think the prices were too much. The max and cheese with chicken was fresh and great, but it cost $19. The salad was also excellent, but without protein I believe it was $14+? Just too much imo.
Baked goods looked awesome, but I didn’t try any. Would recommend getting some sweets!
But all good was great, if you don’t care about price, try this out!
Nice little cafe with beautifully crafted food, desserts and drinks. Spiked drinks are available too. Restrooms were clean. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. Soups, desserts, treats and sandwiches are star of this restaurant. Ask for their Honey cake !
Unique location for bringing friends and family from out of town. Nestled in at the foothills of Cheyenne Mountain and is a favorite among locals. Cozy atmosphere inside along with spacious seating arrangements outdoors. Outstanding food, fast service and prices are reasonable. Enjoy!
Chef Paul is friendly and the food he makes is delicious. Worth me getting on here and posting. We had the club sandwich. Delicious!!!

The French dip was just right. The pretzels were served with a yummy cheese dipping sauce. The tables in the back were quiet. A wonderful place to have a drink, some yummy food and relax.
This little cafe is easy to miss. Located near the entrance to North Cheyenne canyon one could easily drive by and not realize it was there. Great locally roasted coffee, small plates, and plenty of delicious desserts. Right now in winter it is a bit cramped inside where you feel like you are tripping over chairs at other tables unfortunately.
I can't believe it took me so long to go here. I drive by often, but it either looks too busy or it's closed when I happen to come by. I had coffee and a ham/cheese croissant, and it was excellent. My friend had an omelet and potatoes, and that looked great. I will be back very soon!!
It’s my favorite spot before heading into North Cheyenne Cañon Park for a hike. I’ve only ever gotten a croissant sandwich, which is always yummy! Drinks and service can be a little hit or miss for me, though.
The vibe inside is quaint and you can tell the spot is frequented by locals. The location is absolutely dreamy in the fall!
I've been coming here for 2 years and never had a bad experience. It's our go to for breakfast/brunch. The food is delicious and the outside seating is gorgeous during warm weather.
