Today everything was outstanding for an IHOP. We have had some very bad experiences at many of these but was delighted by this one on vacation. Friendly staff and excellent hot food in a timely manner. The only downside is the pricing. 3 adults and 1 child ran $75, $87.50 with tip. Everything is going up and it's starting to show everywhere now. Other than that. All was excellent this time around.
We had a fabulous waitress. Nice and very attentive. The cooks... Need to read the ticket and know the difference between medium well and under cooked. Hubby's eggs.... The whites were so runny. I did a build your own omelette. I asked for mushrooms, green peppers and onions. I got tomatoes instead of mushrooms.
Omg..the family and I went on Sunday evening at about 7pm. It was nice and quiet. Our server was new, but amazing! He had the help of a great manager-I think she was the manager, she was so nice. Don't let the outside sign, with some of its neon lettering out, fool you! This is a well taken care of IHOP.
Now, the food....sooo good! I haven't eaten at an IHOP in 10 years at least. So this was a nice reintroduction because we will go back.
Highly recommend
My first time dining in at this location was very recently, to redeem a free meal I was given by the manager Sarah after an online order flub up. First, I was pleasantly surprised that she took the initiative to reach out to me when I was so busy I had already forgotten about it, and of course I appreciate a free meal! When I got there it seemed pretty busy for a Monday morning, but staff handled everything smoothly and my food was excellent, hot, and came out pretty quickly given the amount of tables they had! Especially of note, though, was my server, Winona. She was on point with everything and her service was fantastic. If I decide to do breakfast during breakfast hours again any time soon, I'll probably revisit this location in the hopes of having Winona as my server.
Restaurant was absolutely spotless. Service was excellent. Food was hot, fresh and quick. 1st time to this location and will definitely be back. Manager was so friendly and the entire staff above average.
A trip down to memory lane brought my wife and I back to IHOP. We used to frequently visit this location when we were younger due to our busy schedules. Often IHOP was the only restart open that would be open; therefore, we went back for the nostalgia. Side note: We barely ate and we’re starving.
We ordered mozzarella sticks which have definitely changed over the years. The mozzarella sticks used to be very thick and filled with cheese to the brim. Honestly they had the best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had; however, they’ve made them skinnier and have less breading. Still a great taste, but sad to see that the recipe had to be changed.
The $6 chicken and pancakes were fantastic. We came during the iHoppy Hour which means that certain dishes are much cheaper than normal (2-10 PM from the time of this review). Being relatively new to pancakes, these were a great experience and they gave me tons of BBQ and Maple Syrup without charging extra for the sauces. The fried chicken was great for a breakfast spot. Crispy breading, no gristle and hot. Great combination for the price!
The onion rings were just standard onion rings but came out pretty cold and we’re not too impressive.
My wife wasn’t didn’t enjoy the texture of the fried egg. Nothing the restaurant could have done, just user error here. Once she took the fried egg off, she enjoyed the burger and told me that it was VERY filling. I even took a bite and noticed that this burger will fill you up for a low cost!
The service was great and most of the tables were very clean. Great to see this, especially since they had very limited crew due to the aftermath of the pandemic.
I’m rating this IHOP a 4 star experience, because it’s exactly what you expect. Inexpensive comfort food that comes quick, hot and accurate. By that definition it’s a definite recommendation to buy your favorite breakfast staple dishes here - especially the chicken and pancakes!
Went here after hiking Pike's Peak, and it was delicious!! I was super hungry, and this perfectly hit the spot. Fast and friendly service, low key atmosphere, and food was great!
Winona is a jewel of a person! Ask for her for great service.
The food was amazing but the waitress did mess up the order. They were busy, so I understand how that can happen. Besides the mix up, it was a great experience
Staff were short but our server did an excellent job taking care of us, I wish I remembered her name but she was an elder lady, overall a great experience for us travelers.
