Came here for dinner with some friends and had a fabulous time. We each grabbed different plates to try as much as possible from the extensive and mouth watering menu.
An impressive liquor selection, kind and efficient service, Clean and modern bathrooms. Couldn’t ask for a better spot! Will definitely be back to enjoy their weekly specials.
Momma Pearl's is the most authentic restaurant I have ever dined at in Colorado Springs. It's like a visit to the French Quarter in New Orleans, just off of North Gate.
The food is incredible I love the Frog Legs, Shrimp, crawfish, I've even tried the Alligator.
Momma Peral Cajun Kitchen is a treat for the whole family. The wife and I have had date nights there, lunch with friends, client meals; I have even treated out of town guests to this unique restaurant.
The staff is always friendly and attentive. However, if you get to visit with Chef Robert "BB" Brunet; what a delight to hear his passion about freshness, his family recipes, and family history.
I'm sorry Hurricane Katrina damaged their property back home; in 2005; but I feel blessed they landed here.
I believe in supporting local family owned business. I would encourage everyone to come get a taste of authentic Cajun Food; give Momma Pearls Cajun Kitchen a chance. You won't regret it.
This place is GOLDEN!!!! Food so good make me wanna slap my mama! I’m from GA so I know southern food, and this place is TOP TIER! The owner was so friendly to us, the atmosphere makes you feel at peace, and the FOOD IS A SHOW STOPPER! Warning ⛔️THEIR PORTIONS ARE HUGE!!!!! So you get what you pay for! We will definitely be back ✊🏽
The alligator po boy sandwich was a little chewy(big chunks), but the Sweet potato fries were delicious. My wife ordered shrimp and grits, one of her favorite dishes-excellent!! BEST IN THE SPRINGS!!! I wished I had ordered.. And I missed the frog legs too!! Dang! Cajun food generally is too spicy for my taste, not here, I could add hot sauce and enjoy. We had Creme Brulee and Beignets for dessert which my wife loved. Mamma Pearl's is her new favorite restaurant.The waitress/service was excellent. Great atmosphere, great music. Not many restaurants in Colorado Springs are as good in my opinion. There is no such thing as fresh seafood in Colorado. We WILL return to try different dishes. If you know Southern cuisine, then you know. Thank you for the memories of my mom and grandma.
Believe it or not this was the first time my wife and I both have tried Cajun food and it was absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to go back to this restaurant and try more of their dishes. The staff was fantastic! We tried a few different things on the menu as we wanted to have a good experience of Cajun dining and this place DID NOT disappoint! Thank you to the Owners of the restaurant that where working right along side the other staff to make the place great. We ordered some Crawfish and unfortunately my wife and I didn’t know how to eat them and Robert the owner actually sat down at the table and taught us how to eat them. Much Appreciated!!!! Thank you to the entire staff!! We will be coming back for sure!!! The Gator was great!!!!
Absolutely phenomenal in all regards! My wife and I haven't had Cajun food this good since we visited New Orleans a couple of years ago. I had the Louisiana Seafood Cakes and my wife got the Cajun Sampler and both were incredible. We got desserts to go (I got cheesecake and my wife got bread pudding) and both were just as amazing as the entrees. Our server was super friendly and nice to us, overall we had a great experience and can't wait to go back! I highly recommend stopping by for some authentic Cajun cooking right here in Colorado Springs!
not only is food incredibly delicious but the service from everyone is unmatched. my husband and I went there their with our two year old for dinner, as soon the toddler was placed in high chair she began crying, within
seconds chef Robert was over with a fake alligator head to help calm down and make her smile.
The food was absolutely delicious, plus the beignets were just the right amount of crunchy and sweet. My only complaint would be the amount of time it took for us to check out. It was a Friday night around 5-6pm and they appeared to be short-staffed with only two servers on the floor, so it almost took half an hour after asking for the bill. I highly recommend the food but will consider going at a less popular time or even ordering to-go next time.
Okay so this was literally one of the best dine-in experiences I’ve had. I’m not sure if it was because my expectations weren’t as high (I’m from Maryland & the seafood in Colorado just hasn’t been what I’ve been used to) or maybe because I was super hungry but oh my goodness, this place is a GEM. We called ahead to reserve and were seated immediately after we arrived. There were plenty of people there but it did not feel crowded at all & we were very comfortable. Drinks were nice but the FOOD, OH MY GOODNESS THE FOOD. TOP TIER. Please try the charbroiled oysters. They’ve changed my life for the better. & how sweet was the owner? Gotta love him. Friendly and attentive staff. Staff that weren’t even assigned to our table helped clean it off when they saw we were finished. Love that. Ample parking available. Priced nicely! Please please please check them out, you won’t regret it.
From the moment we walked in the door, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was great! We started with happy hour cocktails called Hurricane. For food we had Balls of Fire and Jambalaya for starters, and then the sampler seafood platter with frog legs, catfish, shrimp, oysters and alligator. Other than discovering that I don't like oysters (nothing on the chef's end - just my own personal preference), the food was great! Came with fries and fried okra. We had no room left for dessert. The alligator was my favorite! Yum yum. Chef came and said hi which was so awesome. Great service! 10/10 would recommend.
