All classes are in session with just how many vendors are in Ivywild School!
Whether you're new to the area or a long-time resident, Ivywild School is a fun, family-friendly and dog friendly (outside on leash) spot to visit.
With various vendors jam-packed into what was once school grounds, you're guaranteed a nostalgic experience topped off with good food, and for those that drink, good brews.
Parking can be difficult if visiting on a popular weekend day, so prepare to parallel park on the street, but it's a quick walk up to the school.
Indoors, you'll find restaurants and bars to the left and right down the halls, a piano with the occasional piano player, restrooms and seating along the ways. There's also little sitting nooks for privacy. The restrooms are just as you remember being in school but a little larger and cleaner, with paintings all over that walls.
Outdoors, you'll find a unique set up of a metal structure with canvas coverage, granite gravel, a continuous bench lining the area, and big granite rocks that the kids loved to play on. There’s also access to a brewery, food truck, and upper level patio seating with fire pits, adjoining the school.
Keep in mind the metal structure with picnic tables is not a lighted area so prepare to move indoors when it gets dark.
Definitely a unique venue worth checking out.

Overall: 4.75: Great concept to convert a school to trendy eateries, gift shop & restaurant/bar. Cool, relaxed vibe with activities outside & inside with multiple patios. Kid-and-family friendly environment. Variety drink options including beer, wine & cocktails and food options (American, Mexican, Italian, etc.). My favorite are the Chicken Fingers with fries prepared fresh to order.

Really cool concept... eateries and bars within an old school. Very cool to walk around and check out everything. There is even a cute gift shop (when it's open).
Not all the places inside are open everyday... Check hours.
Lots of day workers on their laptops during the week.
Really liked the brewery area... Great staff.
The local art/jewelry vending machine is so cute.
Gets busy after work hours.
If you're from out of town, def check this place out at least once.

My word. What an amazing burger! I had the basic burger and 1/2 and 1/2 fries with my wife. This was done so timely and it was SO affordable. I absolutely loved how everything was so fresh and crisp. This is a new favorite for a date place. The atmosphere was so chill and relax and it was a wonderful time to spend.

This old school turned community hub with a variety of food choices / restaurants, cocktails, and an adorable shop is a great stop for lunch, dinner, coffee, a drink, or a little shopping. They have the cutest art vending machine - for $5, you can choose the type of art and it’s delivered in a delightful box.
We had a Greek salad, sandwich special, ribs, and waffle fries. The waffle fries were the highlight and we thought the atmosphere and experience was better than the actual food.

What a place! Ivywild School remodeled into bars, restaurants, an activity center, brewery, and outdoor seating with cornhole. The atmosphere is amazing and the entire inside is reminiscent of your childhood with crickety floors and old wood. The bathrooms are restored to use and kept clean. The giant chalkboard at the entrance is wonderful full of events! This place is a must go to and you’ll love it! There are private offices that they have converted to cute sitting rooms. You can even sit outside on the patios enjoying the sun and the view with your coffee.

Old school now renovated and use as a small food court. It is a good idea. It is cute and clean.
We got some food from the ivywild restaurant, the salad and sandwich were great! It is a good spot to hang out after a say out in the wild.

Great idea with cool open seating. Beers are ok but variety of choices. Great selection of food vendors. The empanada place was a great surprise. The loaded fries at the burger place was so so - need more loaded toppings. Unfortunately the pizza and bbq places were closed but would like to check them out next time.

First time checking out this very unique place. I ate at the kitchens, and enjoyed an excellent burger. As a new person to this place, I was quite lost and very unfamiliar with what was inside. Is there any way to add a billboard post outside to inform new people what is inside this great old school. I liked the community feel to it. great place.

We got called at the principal’s office, because we ordered beer and cocktails. 😂
Very unique place. We loved the empanadas and the brisket from the bbq place. Great service, friendly staff.

One of the best mac and cheese I have ever had. I would go back just for that. Very interesting concept for bars and restaurants.

What a cool cool spot! I have been here several times and I love how many different food options they have, plus their bar has great selections and their staff has always been pleasant. An old school turned food hall, plus the gift shop is worth checking out!

Cool little spot, parking lot was pretty packed, and we were there in the middle of the afternoon. Loved the variety of choices for food and drink. There is a cute little shop of odd and ends things you can purchase. Great spot to just hang out, eat, drink. Oh, and outside the odd and ends store this hilarious sign was posted.

I had some of the best pizza I’ve probably ever had in my life here. The vibes were good. It is family friendly. There are a couple bars in the building and even a pet friendly area. The store I visited was pretty overpriced but it had some cute items. I just wish they were more adorable.

We stumbled upon this place in a short trip to Colorado Springs and we’re so glad that we did! The drinks were well-made and the library and gift shop were total aesthetic goals! Keeping the restrooms as they were when the school was operating as a school was super unexpected and cool (and nostalgia inducing).

Amazing atmosphere. Lots of things to look at and enjoy. Food is amazing. I really loved the ease of having different restaurants so close to each other so the kids were able to select what they wanted and all were amazing. The beef empanadas are probably my new favorite food. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in the springs.

Ivywild School is one of the most fun food and drink environments in Colorado Springs. Whether you're visiting the Principal's Office for a unique mixed drink, in the gym for one of their many sold-out events, or enjoying the original painting while visiting the bathroom. Definitely a go-to for taking out of town guests for a huge variety of food and drinks all in one building. They also have a fun selection of non-alcoholic cocktails and coffees at the Principal's Office.

I love the concept of this place! Very unique! There are several good food options. We were able to order a little bit from each restaurant to satisfy each person’s cravings. We had pizza, empanadas, and açaí bowls. All were so good! Edit to add: the empanadas were very delicious, but they’re way smaller than we expected.

Excellent experience! Brilliant repurposed venue. Craft cocktails at their finest and served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was A+! Will be back
Melody Julian
We loved the “dip plate” appetizer! The classic burger is highly recommended. The Chicken Tortilla Soup is totally made from scratch - spicy, but oh so good!!
Allen Yankowsky
Love Bristol Brewery. Wireless Warlock is the best. Friendly people. Excellent food. Had to buy up some of the label artwork. Love the Forgotten Genius Series. Will be back for a tour.
Sasha Weber
Love it! Close to perfection, especially with increased awareness of food allergies (vegan, gluten-free, etc.). Every city needs similar concept. ♡
Travis Mock
We were brought here while visiting friends in the area. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was incredible. Very cool concept and execution.
Lisa Creech Coleman
What an amazing place to have a brewery! The beer was amazing and the food was great too.

A great spot in the Ivywild neighborhood for food, drinks, and hanging out!

Loved the food and the whiskey there. Cool concept as well.

I attended the Who Gives A Scrap with my 2 girls-great venue, great people and Maggie did a fantastic job organizing. Great for moms to get out and meet other moms.
