Love this place! Cozy little coffee shop with damn good food, cocktails, beer, and espresso. The owner is a great guy and the staff is friendly. Recommended!

I love this place! Although they have limited seating and parking, the food and drinks are SO worth it. Wouldn't suggest this place for people with little kids on busy days. There really isn't anywhere comfortable to wait for a table- you just stand around. The coffee is delicious, the mimosas are perfect, and the Monkey Wrench waffle is perfection. Also...really good bacon.
This place is exceptional! The only complaint is that we came in on a Saturday morning at 9 am , and there was no server , however the gentleman who seated us took care of us right away! Great environment , delicious food and phenomenal coffee
Great food and great service. It was extremely slow the day I went, but it was very chill. Although the TV was pretty loud and couldn't hear my family in a conversation sadly. And it was in what looked like a shady neighborhood, but still a good stop for a relaxing time. Had the "Triple Double" Burger with Black Truffle Fries, and it was amazing. Not a place I would take kids sadly, but the food and drinks were definitely hearty. I would love to try them for breakfast if I'm ever in the downtown area during that time. Their waffles sound good too.
I recently visited Urban Stream, an American bistro in an industrial area, tucked away at the end of Sierra Madre Street. Despite its charming atmosphere, the parking situation was quite troublesome, with limited street parking and a small, full parking lot. To accommodate overflow, they had outdoor seating, but it wasn't ideal due to the overcast weather.
Unfortunately, our experience with the parking incident was marred when a member of our party was backing into a spot, only for someone else to rudely take it without hesitation. Moreover, there was significant loitering by the parking lot with homeless people, making us feel uncomfortable though not necessarily unsafe.
Upon entering, we were informed that the kitchen was short-staffed, which explained the slow service. However, it was nice of them to give us a heads-up right from the beginning. The waitress was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome despite the slight delay.
The ambiance inside the bistro was delightful, and I loved the impressive murals on the walls. The bar area was well-kept and fully stocked, adding to the overall charm of the place.
I opted for tea, and I must say, it was quite good. As for the food, we decided to split the sunrise burrito, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The burrito was very tasty, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Urban Stream.
One thing to note is that they already include a hospitality fee in the bill. Since we were a party of three, this may be something to keep in mind while planning your budget for the visit as we were taken back by it.
In conclusion, despite the initial parking hassle and discomfort around the area, the experience at Urban Stream was positive overall. The friendly service, delightful ambiance, and delicious food made it a memorable visit. I would gladly return to savor more of their delectable offerings and enjoy the inviting atmosphere.
I went on a Monday and they were out of a few things. Maybe because they had a busy weekend? I had lunch there. The food was pretty good. They have coffee drinks as well as alcohol (time of day dependent). The breakfast menu looked really good too! The atmosphere is pretty neat as well.
Perfect breakfast spot. It has a cool diner vibe in an area getting revitalized. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They seem to work as a very cohesive team. My daughter loved the Nutella stuffed French toast, my son loved the chicken and waffles, and the breakfast burrito and boss bowl were really good. The management let us sit at the bar since the tables were full which was really fun and made for a unique experience. We highly recommend this place.
This is a great place to stop by and enjoy a good meal or brunch. I ordered their guava mimosa and wow was it amazing.
The service was great, the food delicious and the atmosphere happy. Our dishes were the "Colorado Poutine bowl", the "Classic Brekkie", the "Chicken Biscuit" with a side of gravy, and the "Stuffed French Toast" with peaches. Quite an enjoyable experience all in all.
This is an excellent breakfast spot. Whether your going for caffeine or something a little stronger, they have great choices and the food is just as good.
Super cute little place off the Main Street with an amazing view. Our server was so friendly and suggested tons of options for us out of towners. Food was good was lacking a little seasoning, however overall experience was great. Plus kudos to the music selection.
Place offers a lot: own roasted coffee drinks, full liquor bar and beer tap. We stopped for breakfast. Both savory and sweet waffle options were great. Basic coffee used for Americano was ok, not great. I hope that single origin Kenyan and Ethiopian options would be a better choice next time. Ordered 'Bloody Hairy' cocktail - must try!!!!
The atmosphere inside and outside is great!
Windows and patio offer you a beautiful Montain view!
Definitely will be coming back!
