We choose this restaurant for my birthday dinner. The food, atmosphere and cocktails are superb. They have an extensive wine list, martini menu and menu. The service is 5 star; you don't feel rushed, you aren't sitting in the middle of a large floor and we enjoyed everything about the evening. Happy Hour here is a "must go to" place as well.
My go to place for Happy Hour. I love wine Wednesday’s on top of the best happy hour.
Ben is the best Bartender in town!!
We made a reservation for a birthday meal here on the patio for a Sunday evening, we arrived at the time and waited maybe 10 minutes for our table. The patio was beautiful and comfortable with privacy from the street. The service was impeccable and so helpful. Everything was fresh and delicious and made exactly as ordered, steaks were cooked perfectly and each dessert was delicious! Our bill was around $200 for 3 people and we had leftovers to take home. Was wished a happy birthday and they comped one of the desserts as a gift. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone and I cannot wait to come back!
The service is top knotch. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about each item and treats you like royalty. The food is well worth the cost. It's a great place for date night or a nice family dinner.
I really enjoyed my anniversary here! The drinks were super delicious and tasteful. I didn’t really care for the French onion soup. The soup was a little thicker and didn’t have that beef flavor. The pork belly was very delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection. The white cheddar mash was a little dry! I wish it was creamy and fluffy. The staff was top notch and very delightful.
Reservation process was easy. Atmosphere was great - dim lighting and service was absolutely amazing. Server was delightful, other passing servers ensured we were good. Spinach artichoke appetizer dip was amazing and the tortellini with chicken was to die for. Parking was not great, but then again… it is Downtown. Would give it 10 stars if I could
Ordered prime rib medium with cheddar potatoes and my man ordered prime rib medium with the baked potato and all the food was outstanding. Had two martinis and creme brulee for dessert. My boyfriend had creme brulee for his free bday desert, ae shared it and absolutely loved it! There are lots of options for wine, beer, hard spirits, a decent selection for martinis and mixed drinks
Not a cheap meal but very worth the money
Beautiful location in downtown Colorado Springs. It was the day before Thanksgiving, so they had the light bistro menu. Superb service.
Nice steakhouse if you're in the area or willing to make a reservation. Gave me some serious "basement with rich mahogany" vibes; lights are dim, the restaurant is downstairs, etc. We had no issues getting a reservation for the next day with a decent sized group.
We started with the duck confit bruschetta, which was delicious! The veggies added more texture to the wonton chips. The bleu wedge was also enjoyed and IMO, you can't really go wrong with a wedge salad. For entrees, we ordered the cioppino, which was jam packed with seafood of all sorts. It was worked on until there was nothing left. The chicken piccata was tasty and had a good amount of flavor. The 12 oz NY strip was cooked a little more on the rare side than expected (medium rare is what we ordered), but it worked out because I ate the more cooked parts, while my husband who prefers rare steak enjoyed those parts. Outside of the cook, the steak was flavorful and salted well.
The kids had a pizza and some fettuccine, which to my surprise was quite delicious and garlicky. I just assume items on the kids' menu are not usually as flavorful. We also had the chocolate spoon cake, which the kids devoured and only left a few morsels for the rest of us to enjoy.
Overall, everything we ordered was seasoned well and we all enjoyed everything. Def more on the pricey side, but if you're looking for a place to enjoy a good dinner and a low key environment, this is the place!
If do you want perfection in everything, this is absolutely your choice.
All food is delicious, service is great, and you can have your group in a private area.
They handled our party of 15 perfectly in service, food and ambience. My wife and I liked it so much we went back a couple days later to watch Sunday Night Football at the bar. That was great as well. This is an upscale place so it's not cheap, but they certainly give you what you're paying for.
Great service, the food was delightful! I recommend the spinach artichoke dip as a starter, but the shishito peppers were amazing too. The chefs cooked our meat the appropriate way and exactly how we asked for it. The lighting and music were perfect for our date night. Would absolutely come back!
