We ate here because it's a dog friendly patio. I had the best grilled turkey sandwich ever so we came back the next morning for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were very tasty, service was excellent even though they were slammed. We will definitely be back next trip!!

We ate all over Colorado Springs and Woodland Park and Bon Tons is the absolute best. Would never have breakfast anywhere else.
It's a nice little patio, if you can get there early enough to avoid the crowd. They have good early breakfast special (before 9am) for 6$.
1-1-1. Delightful small café with excellent food. No senior discount, and no military discount. Coffee was O.K., but not worth $2.00+ bill came to not quite $8.00 I ordered the "One-one-one" . I pancake, one egg, and 1 strip of bacon. The bacon was thick, and fully cooked just the way I like it. I'm on a budget because I have a fixed income, and have to be very careful to not over spend on eating out; however, this is a place I plan to save my pennies, so I can go back again next month. They open at six which is nice for me as I get up early.
Good food and atmosphere. First of all this place was a little bit on the pricey side. That out of the way, the food was delicious. My wife commented that their pancakes were among the best she had ever had. The outdoor patio area was extremely nice as well. The service could have been a bit better, but I think a number of the staff were distracted by someone doing a "dine and dash" while we were there.

More tables = less service. My wife and I decided to have a nice leisurely brunch this morning and Bon Ton's was the place we chose. When we walked up to the front, every single outside table was taken (20+ tables), we figured the wait would be huge. But when we walked inside, they also had a similar amount of tables and there were some empty. We were told by the manager to sit wherever we liked and a server would be right there to greet us. This is where the service went downhill.
It is obvious to anybody who has a smidgen of restaurant-sense that if you're going to go through spikes of lots of business and little business, then you need to have a hostess. You also need to place potential parties on a wait if you don't have enough servers to take care of all of the tables. It was clear that this restaurant did not have enough servers from the start. The bottom line is that if you are an impatient person, do not come here for Brunch, which this restaurant gets a majority of its business from.
Perusing over the "newspaper" menu (similar to Black Bear Diner), you'll see a fantastic selection of breakfast items. I asked the waitress to pick between the Eggs Florentine and the Salmon Benedict. She chose the salmon for me. My wife picked a breakfast sausage breakfast sandwich which came on a bagel. I picked a side portion of 2 pancakes for us split as well.
The food came out AFTER 3 tables we were near that were sat after us, but we dug in regardless. My wife's breakfast sandwich was nothing too special, she commented, but she realized they had other things on the menu that might've been more flavorful, like mine. I had the Salmon Benedict which had perfectly poached eggs (slightly runny on the inside) and perfectly flaky salmon which seemed to be lots more than the 4oz the menu said it would come with. The hashbrowns came out without any salt on them, which is a good or a bad thing depending on who you are. As for the pancake, they were extremely dense and actually somewhat hard to cut with just the edge of your fork, so a knife is actually needed. The texture was just fine and the syrup was very thick and dark with good flavor. Not your run of the mill runny diner syrup I would say.
So the food was the redeeming quality of this place when all was said and done. Their lunch looked good and I may have to stop by on another day to let the service redeem itself for me.
If you subscribe to the whole most-important-meal theory, you have to take any place that serves breakfast all day equally so. Bon Ton is good inexpensive breakfast that you can eat out on a nice patio. It makes the list for a return visit the next time I'm in town.

Okay. I enjoyed the patio envrionment and the location. The food was pretty good. A place to go once in a while.
Worth a try. If you go at a busy time, make sure you sign yourself on the piece of paper by the door as it is the waiting list.
The food here was nothing too special but not bad by any means. The patio was cool and the old part of town gives you something to look at.
Service was lacking due to under staffing.
They do have some unique stuff here to try to stick with that route and read their paper.

When I'm in town on business I make it a point to stop in for breakfast on the weekend. But don't be surprised if you bump into a line waiting to get in.
First time visit to Bon Ton's. Been on my list for a couple years. I'm so happy we finally tried it out! What a cute place! Cool artwork outside. The service is outstanding.
The breakfast is so good! The pumpkin spice pancakes are incredible! A meal in itself! The biscuits and gravy are the best in The Springs. I'd mainline the gravy. My Country Benedict hit the spot before a day of walking. I'll be back for lunch!
Great little outdoor restaurant along Colorado Avenue, so eat ans or shop and eat. We had a vegan with us, and he looked at the menu, stating hell yes, he can find something vegan here to eat.
We ordered breakfast and had the Colorado Bliss, and he had Chili Renello. Everyone was totally satisfied as the food came out pretty fast after the lunch crowd on a weekend.
Recommend the Raspberry Tea is fantastic, and the flavor is great.
Our waitress was very on spot along with being attentive. Big Shout Out to Estell for a fabulous dining experience outside where it was cool and had a little breeze.

Strawberry stuffed French toast!!!! Absolutely a must have. We also loved the breakfast burrito with the crispy hashbrowns. And the corn beef hash was one of the best we have ever had. Thanks for a great breakfast!
I live in the neighborhood, but had never had the chance to eat here until this morning. I can see why it is always busy-the menu has great options, the ambience is very cozy and most of all, the service was absolutely phenomenal. I believe our waitress was called Lynn and she was the absolute best server I have ever seen. She was taking care of many tables simultaneously and everything came on time, she checked on everyone multiple times, and was very warm and delightful. My friends and I were thoroughly impressed by her!
The food was delicious (get a blueberry pancake - you will not be disappointed!) and I can’t wait to come back. :)
This was a gem that was found by default as the other restaurant we tried to go to was too busy. Everything we ordered was delicious and the food came out rather quickly, despite business picking up.
Our entrees consisted of a breakfast burrito, smothered with pork green chile, with the crispiest hash browns. That dish was outstanding in every way; the green chile reminded me of my grandmother’s. The chef salad met expectations. The kids shared the two+two+two meal and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The pancakes were fluffy and tasted amazing with the hint of vanilla. Paired extremely well with the eggs, of course.
Great place to enjoy a meal, whether you’re seeking breakfast or lunch.

We actually mistimed our arrival on the day we went there and came in at 2:30 and they close at 3. I regret doing that because it isn’t fair to workers expecting to get out on time. Samantha was gracious.
Actually, all of the workers appeared kind and helpful to each other. My reason for 4 stars was that I could hear complaining from a staff member in the kitchen. It could have been our arrival or it could have been a bad day. In addition, it was a bit messy. However, that could have been from a full day of serving hungry people! Nothing to stop us from going again when we are in town.
My friends hamburger was great, she said. I had the Ruben melt and I was surprised at how good the slaw was.
The food here is good- really love the Eggs Benedict here. Prices are fair and easy going atmosphere. The home fries could use more seasoning, but really nice staff and outdoor patio.
We went early for breakfast which was very good, I had the chorizo skillet which came out pretty fast. All in all a very solid breakfast with a beautiful outdoor seating area.
We tried this little restaurant out on our first morning. My husband found it while I was still in bed. He was attracted to it because of their eggs Benedict menu. I tried the flourentine and it was just amazing! My husband got the chicken fried steak, and I have to say, as many times as I've tried it, that has been the only time I've liked it
