Cook Out

Its 1030 pm and I am finally getting to eat dinner after a grueling day in nursing. I ordered a Cookout tray with BBQ sandwich, corn dog and onion rings. When I picked it up, I was too exhausted to check the order. Clearly...this is NOT what I ordered or paid for. The sandwich is a burned burger with onion and bacon. To the trash it goes. Ugh!!!

I waited in line for 20 minutes for hotdogs that were raw and cold. The small portion of fries were broken up burnt ends that were soggy & inedible. Very disappointed because this used to be my favorite restaurant. The food USED to be amazing. I tried calling back to restaurant but no one answered. The nuggets were soggy with grease that I couldn’t eat them. Deserves ZERO stars. What happened to Cookout? This restaurant used to Have standards.

So incredibly disappointing tonight. My order was a tray: chicken strips w/ranch, hush puppies, white cheddar cheese bites, and a coke with no ice. They were out of the white cheddar cheese bites, which is understandable. Supply issues and you can't control when you run out of things. But my fries in place of them were soggy, which isn't ok. My coke was super warm. I always order my drinks without ice so that they aren't watered down. A fountain drink should still come out cold, even without the ice. This was nowhere near cold. My chicken strips were a bit overcooked and my dip was missing, so I got to eat dry chicken strips. And then we got some random chicken wrap which means someone else is going to end up with an incorrect/incomplete order.

This is unacceptable. I will not be returning. This is AFTER I requested more food. They originally gave me only THREE cheese bites and BARELY any fries. This is seriously the amount of food I received, and the food is never prepared correctly. Some of my cheese bites didn’t even have cheese in them. The fries are SOGGY and not fully cooked. This is my second and last at this location. The first time I received only three or four hush puppies and three onion rings. Ridiculous.
