What a great place to eat ~ Loved how everything was set up and the decor! The food was delicious, had the Whoop Whoop wrap and would definitely have it again the next time we are passing through. Hailey, our waitress was very friendly, good job to all of you!
Me and my 3 year old love eating breakfast here we drive out of the way to come eat. Everything taste fresh and always has been delicious especially the Sweet Cream Pancakes!! The owners are always helping topping off coffee, cleaning tables, outside cooking, or just making sure you're having a good experience! All the staff does a excellent job of being friendly and taking care of you. Keep up the great work!
I must say, the food was spectacular. The service was very nice and the diner was spotless. Nathan made my husband and I feel like we were the only ones there. Even after we finished our meal I wanted to sit and talk. I didn't want to leave. Colon is a small town. Everyone knows everyone. So, when we learned Nathan opened the diner we wanted to try it. Honestly, if you haven't tried it yet just go over and order a meal. It's worth it.
I came in for lunch, with very limited time. My server was very prompt and courteous and my salad was outstanding. It was very large serving and I could not eat it all. I originally came in for a cheeseburger as I heard they were really good, but I decided to stick with my diet plan. I will definitely be back for that burger when I have more time!
Place was quaint. I thought the service was good. The menu took a little deciphering as they used a lot of local innuendo's to describe items. I had a "Beef on Weck" being from Western New York I was excited to see this offered. Imagin my disappointment when they announced the beef would be shredded, then to add to that the Kimmelweck roll was a hamburger bun with some caraway seeds and salt sprinkled on the top. Not very big and a little overpriced. I'll try them again but for a more standard meal.
We were a big party and got lucky they were able to accommodate seating for us. The cook wasn't able to get our orders out all at the same time, which was a bummer bc some were finishing while others were just starting. However, all the orders were right and tasted good! Would return if ever back in the area.
Ahhh such a breath ofresh air!!! This place is truly magical. The waitress was a dream!!! The staff was on top and friendly, very welcoming! Thank you!!! Food was amazing!! You gotta visit this place. Magic capital of the world!!!
Good simple breakfast especially since they open at 5am, which is good after being out in the street all night talking with other magicians during Magic Week!
We dined in today for the first time. I loved the names of the sandwiches. How they incorporated the names of the streets around our home town I thought was a great touch! I ordered the burroak rd burger and I loved it! It was deliciously messy and very different from any body else's!! It was so good I ate the whole thing!! Very nice job young man. I'm so happy for you!! Can't wait to come back.

I never leave online reviews but this one is worth noting.
I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 15 years, getting to travel the world and spot for a number of little hole in the wall businesses. I went in today and not only was the Owner the one who took my order, but the energy, the privacy of getting to enjoy my meal, and the quality of the service was top notch. He interacted with others as if they were friends and it’s a rare thing to see in this day and age.
Onto the meal. I went a few months back when I first landed in Michigan, about 3 1/2 months ago and the food was 4/10. It was over cooked, lacking flavor, and just overall didn’t give me any thought of coming back.
Now today, I decided to give it a chance, and I was surprised. Not only was the menu reasonably priced, but the food was excellent. I ordered the Ambs road sandwich, which is exactly what I ordered last time, and this time it exceeded my expectations 10 fold. Whatever has happened in the past few months, I hope continues to happen. I know this is a lengthy reviews but I will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu and I have high hopes. 10/10 would recommend to go to this cozy little diner in the middle of nowhere.
