Denny's

Oh boy, Denny's!! This place is an absolute joke. I took my dad and daughter here for dinner. We walked in and all seemed okay. There were a few customers but definitely not busy. We were seated pretty quickly and our drink order taken without incident. We ordered our food and waited a very long time. I asked our server to check on it. She informed me that the cook called off and the manager was cooking. Our order hadn't even been started and would likely be another 45 minutes to an hour. I couldn't believe what she said next. The kitchen was very backed up with to go orders. I am not the smartest person in the world but why wouldn't you stop taking to go orders? I don't know perhaps wait on your guests that are in your restaurant. Maybe that would keep your customers from getting up and leaving. Absolutely absurd in my book.

We had a great experience. Our server was the only server working, so she was very busy, but she was doing an AWESOME job. Sadly, I can’t remember her name, but for as many tables as she had, she was very upbeat, very funny, and very pleasant. As well, I’ve been to a few different Denny’s locations, and this one had the best food and service in my opinion thus far.

Sun, 20June22 I went to treat myself to "Father's Day Sunday Brunch!!!!!!!" I had a DELICIOUS, VERY TASTY BREAKFAST WITH COFFEE & ORANGE JUICE!!!!!!!!!!! The Staff was very attentive keeping my COFFEE cup full!!!!!!!!!!! Made sure that I didn't need anything. The Ambiance was very good. I want to "Thank" your Staff and Management for the GREAT VISIT!!! Sincerely, Frank Garza

This place, is just phenomenal. All the food is so so good and always cooked amazingly I am NEVER disappointed. Breakfast, lunch, midnight meal, snacky snack, AMAZING, ALL OF IT. And the service is just spectacular, I typically have a server named Jennifer and, it’s people like her who help make Denny’s such an amazing, comfortable, safe environment. Honest to God. The workers here do not get paid enough. My party of 8 came in at 130AM. We just had finished up our friends 23rd birthday. And we went to Dennys because that's the only thing that was open and sounded good. We saw 2 workers. And they were cranking out meals as fast and as hard as they could. The one male that morning served us with the best service he had. They honestly deserve raises. Him and the other server. Both of them were on server duty/cook/ probably every station

Dear General Manager, Nelson is problematic. My partner and I frequent Waffle House and Denny's. Typically, we buy a couple eggs, sausage, bacon, and toast. Two drinks. Tonight we did something similar: Smoothie Eggs Sausage Coffee Eggs Bacon Nelson asked us after our order if "we were okay". I said yes. He brought back the food. He stood over us and asked again, "are you sure you're okay? I can buy your food." Me: what? Him: well usually people order way more. I can buy your food if you can't afford it. Me: please get away from me. I make 6 figures. I brought my wife for finger food and to talk. General Manager, I'm not sure why Nelson thought it was appropriate to assume anything about us. The question and positioning of it - multiple times - was rude. It was insensitive. It was assumptive. I hope to hell it had nothing to do with us being Black. Remove him from the floor. We were told by two workers that Nelson gets LOTS of complaints. This is ridiculous. And so is he.

The 1 star is not for the young man that was left to run this place by himself only 3 days into his job there. This 1 star review is for whoever operates this place. Consider yourself lucky to have him as he was very calm under pressure and very apologetic. But the fact that you’d put him in this position is a direct reflection of how poor an employer you people are. I hope he quits. There are plenty of better jobs out there.
