Best Wok

Portions were a good size, we ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and an order of chicken fried rice total 20+. I was expecting good seasoning, the chicken fried rice was bland and had a burnt taste. My companion noticed a perfume bottle on top of the fridge close to where the food is put out on the serving window. First time eating here and probably the last, maybe we just caught them on an off night.

They wouldn't give me any more sauce for the sweet and sour chicken. One tiny sauce cup.Then charged me when I asked for more like I was being unreasonable asking for more that a teaspoon of sauce for a whole order of chicken. Won't be coming back. Just to many better places to go. Where you don't get nickel and dimed for every little thing. They don't even put any vegetables or chicken in the noodles. They are just giving less and less and charging more and more. Just not worth it. Not anymore

It was my 1st time to dine here, & it was actually my better halfs choice. I went expecting your run of the mill Americanized Chinese Restaurant, and when I saw the menu board & then read tge menu, well, I knew I was right. We ordered, had a seat and they brought my entree out in a pretty timely manner, but it was several minutes before the better halfs order showed up, which is never a good thing in a restaurant. Now one I tried my shrimp fried rice, I was pleasantly surprised, but the cool thing was that the surprises didn't stop there, I had ask them to make my Garlic Shrimp extra spicy, & they were the 1st Chinese Restaurant that has ever actually made it spicy enough that I could taste & enjoy the heat. So needless to say I was impressed with my meal. Now the better half had ordered pork fried rice, which was just as good as mine was, and her coconut chicken had the best batter on it that either of us have ever had in a Chinese restaurant, it was not that bready type found in most Chinese Restaurant's, but instead was more like a fresh tempura batter. We will be going bacj just for there chicken because of that batter. All-N-All, this was the best Americanized Chinese Food that I have ever had!!! The only reason for the 4 star rating was the fact that our food did not come out at the same time & it was just too hot inside there, but neither of those are deal breakers! If you find yourself in Collins Mississippi & want a surprisingly good meal, then by all means stop in at the Best Wok!
