As unique a burger as you will ever get. Dyers has been standing out there in the Memphis so long it’s become a public institution. And the burger has been the mainstay the entire time. While they do have some other offerings like my partners chicken sandwich and catfish, it’s the burger you want for a first time visit. Two sizes available, I got the bigger one that has three patties as pictured with all the traditional toppings. I managed to squeeze in some banana puddin at the end. It really was as good as it looks.

Hamburger was decent. My bun was burnt on the bottom. I actually prefer Freddy's. Nice friendly atmosphere. If I ever go back I'll try the hotdogs. Reasonably priced.

Waited for over 45 minutes for our waitress to bring our food out at 1:00 on a Wednesday. Another server said they were down to one chef which is understandable, but all the other tables seated after us got their food/ate and left before us. My friend and I brought our kids to the square to have a nice lunch out with them - the waitress could not have been more rude or displeased to see children and strollers, despite being well behaved. I have never felt so judged and disappointed in this town in my entire life. To summarizes: $60 for 2 kids meals, 4 lemonades, and 2 burgers, took over an hour to get out food correctly, rude staff, and incorrect bills. Will not be back.

Jennifer was so helpful and quick, she also made some hand stir milk shakes! And the cook, Justin not only whipped up delicious food, he was easy on the eyes. Great food great service and our plates were about $8 a piece after taxes. The shakes were about 5.50 with tax. But it was a great time!

We came into this cozy burger restaurant thinking how cool. I found a table, sat down, and waited. It took a while for a waitress to come over. She brought menus. She didn't take drink orders. Waiting, finally a different waitress came over and took drink and food orders. Meanwhile, three other parties came in and sat at tables near our table. Immediately, waitress brought menus and took their drink orders. I get my burger, that didn't even have the pickles on it, and it's burnt. I've had many char-grilled burgers in my life. This one had more char. I felt crunches in my mouth instead of juicy burger. I opened it up to look at it. It was super thin, dry, overcooked. I was hungry, had somewhere to be at an appointed time 20 minutes away so I didn't have time for a do over. It was either eat it or be hungry for hours. I also took note that people at other 3 tables received their orders quickly. I even noticed one man opened his burger and his burger wasn't burnt. I was thirsty when I came in and drank my coke pretty quickly. Waitress never brought a refill. She walked by and put the check on the table but didn't bring a refill. She didn't return to collect for the check. I went to the bar/register to pay the check. Service was slow and burger was overcooked. The charming appeal of eating in the town square during Christmas season was lost at this eatery. I will say the onion rings were good and my grandson enjoyed his chicken.

The ultimate greasy burger - which may sound gross, but it's a burger they can be greasy. I thought it was great. Also really good french fries and fried pickles.

I was sure this would be a wonderful meal because of how long Dyers has been in business. I have never been more disappointed in a meal…I’ve actually never thrown a meal away but I did this one. Fried pickles burnt, bacon cheese fries over cooked and hard and my burger was so saturated in grease that the lettuce was soaked through and there was a pool of grease in the bottom of my box. The waitress was sweet as can be and did a great job though!!!!

Busy Saturday lunch. Ordered takeout quickly and waited at the soda bar. Servers are super nice and friendly. Short wait for three burgers, fries, pickles, and banana pudding. Everything was perfect. Burgers are some of the best around. Huge serving of fried pickles, enough for 3-4 people to share easily. Onion rings were awesome too. Hungry and in Collierville? This is a must stop and you won't be disappointed.
