My wife and I went to Urban Foodie for lunch the other day, and it was a great meal. At first, it didn't seem like we were gonna have a great experience. The restaurant was basically empty and it took longer then it should have to be seated, they didn't have any of their hot pockets, and the food took really long to be made. However, our waiter was excellent the food was amazing and you get really good value for your money.
I had the lime pepper wings with fries and a side of the truffle mac and cheese. And man were the wings good. I don't think it was they were lemon pepper wings, but the lime and the Chile juxtaposed each other really well. The fries were great, and the truffle mac and cheese was really good as well. I'd come back here again.

The food was really good. Favorite was the greens. The place is really nice. However, it was a little different since they had a DJ with really loud music. The music selection was enjoyable (I found myself wanting to get up and dance), but it was really difficult to carry on a conversation.

Great vibe and setting with live music. The chicken with waffles were phenomenal! The scallops on the seafood platter with grits wasnt quite up to par with the rest of dishes. Still definitely worth a visit.

Food is amazing!! I had the braised short ribs, it was incredible! I went with a large group of approx 14 and unfortunately service was very poor and the restaurant was out of a lot of things, including things (food and drinks) which they forgot to mention until we flagged the server down asking "where's our stuff?" One person in our group didn't get served until everyone else was already finished eating. Some of us were lucky to get one beverage, the server never came back to offer refills. Some of us were unlucky that the restaurant was out of their chosen beverage and the server never informed and just never brought anything. However everyone in our group uniformly praised the food, the food itself was outstanding.

This place is the only place to go for some damn good eats! Definitely check it out. The shrimp and grits is good, but the show stoppers are the short ribs, and the chicken wing! You will thank me later!

Wow. First time here and I spent some time trying to find a place to eat near our hotel. Struck gold! The chicken and waffles had a Chile-lime sauce/rub with a bacon chile waffle and bourbon maple syrup (pictured). Wonderful. Best banana pudding I ever had. Docked one star as, though friendly and did a good job, service was very slow. Food came out in good time after we ordered but every other step of the meal was waaaayyy too slow. I don’t think they had enough staff. Overall, I would make the trip here again for dinner the next time I’m in the area.

This food was delicious. I mean well seasoned, perfectly cooked. Mac & cheese was melted ecstasy. My favorite part is that the portions wasn't over loaded. After the full meal I was satisfied and truly appreciate the chiefs at this fine establishment.
