Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

My wife and I order from here all the time. The food is very hit or miss, and when they miss...they miss bad. Tonight I ordered a burger (cooked medium) with fries and fried apples. My wife got a breakfast. My wife’s food was fine, but my burger was way over cooked and had no flavor. On top of that, I had very few fries and the apples were inedible. The apples had black bits throughout and they tasted like mush. Tony was nice and offered to give us a free meal, but things like this keep happening here. When I buy a meal, I don’t want a free meal the next time we come in....also Idk what the deal is but this location is always off on pickup times. I’ve had some orders where the hostess told me my food sat for 10-15 min even tho I made it there on time, and I’ve had orders where I wait an additional 5-10 min past the estimated time. Something is off with this location....

We enjoy coming to this store because it is close to home. Ordered the confetti pancake breakfast for my son, he always enjoys eating the pancakes. I ordered chicken fingers ( they were not cooked inside was slimy and pink) alerted the server who brought out more chicken, I took them home due to not being hungry. No manager visited the table. My husband enjoyed his French toast breakfast and sausage. Overall not a bad visit.

Don't order food from curbside if you want to sit outside for 30 minutes while your food is inside getting cold. And when you call you get asked if you called or replied to the email....yes we did twice and then we were told that you should call because the email doesnt always work. Then why ask if we replied to the email???? If you have food sitting there and its past pickup (especially 30 minutes) you would think someone should look outside to see of the person is there. Online it asks for your car so they should know who is there. Poor customer service and horrible ways on doing things or handeling situations that im sure comes from corporate.

This place is not up to Cracker Barrel standards. The meals came in a bowl all together and you had chicken and dumplings soup with fried apples and hash brown casserole. O-yea. There were only 2 dumplings in the entry. All the meals were cold and portions were very small. I was a lucky one and got 5 carrots in my meatloaf bowl. TOO CRACKER BARREL EMPLOYEES, Take some pride in what you do for a living. Take some pride in your self. I see you need training and your management is to blame but if Cracker barrel upper management don't care, they may as well shut the doors.
