Cocoa Cafe

I love Cocoa Cafe. Being from the north east of usa there are not alot of choices down here in the south for good diner food. Great prices, great food. They make a grilled ham and cheese the right way butter and grilled not like they do down here no butter and just toasted on the grill to melt the cheese.

GREAT food, and lots of it! I'd give it a 5, but service has declined. When we first visited 2 years ago, we always brought our out of town guests. After a change in employees, there was a lack of, and the environment seemed to change. Not relaxing fun, but stress and drama. We return on occasion to see if it's changed because we do love the food.

Several of my colleagues recommended Cocoa Cafe for a good breakfast at a fair price. We went in and had a memorable meal. I had the special omelet (can't remember what it is called) and it was delicious. Lots of meat and cheese and sauce. My better half had the Belgian waffle. It was huge. Covered the entire plate. Glad I remembered to take photos before we started. I have seen several reviews of bad service from the waitstaff. They were very busy when we got there due to one of the waitresses not showing up. Cheryl, the lonely only waitress on the floor did a magnificent job of making sure the orders got from the table to the kitchen and and back to the correct table. My coffee mug did not go empty, she was there to fill it without having to ask. She is awesome and should get an excellent bonus for the work she did on Saturday following Black Friday, 2018.
