Panera Bread

I love the food here. There’s not a ton to choose from, but my favorite is the chipotle chicken avocado sandwich. The coffee is not bad and they have some funky cold drinks in the back (ex. Prickly pear lemonade), also normal fountain drinks. They can make specialty coffee drinks too, like lattes, and they’re pretty good. The bakery items are a little hit or miss with selection. I love their “kitchen sink” cookies. They have toffee pieces or something in them which really adds a nice taste. Also their danish ring is heavenly.

I love Panera food in general, and have ordered from this Panera in Hunt Valley a lot because it's close to home. Probably 30% of the time they mess up our order. Today it was that they gave us the wrong soup, and I didn't notice it until several hours later. They don't seem to have great quality control either, as sometimes my salads are fine and sometimes they're not. Sometimes they have almost no chicken and sometimes they have a lot. I wish I could give it a higher rating, but maybe a not so good rating will spur them to do better.

We ordered two sandwiches with rapid pickup service. When we opened up the packages, the sandwiches do not look anywhere like the photos. There were no veggies in the chicken burger and the sandwich does not look appealing. since we are on our way to Harrisburg and in a hurry we had to gobble them down with our drinks. Bad experience.

Food is always good. They seem to not have their act together at the register every time I come in. I've seen the manager intervening with some transaction on every visit probably. I hate the way they call out the orders. And, I can't stand that part of the order is served separately from the other part. That's just a universal thing for Panera Bread, though.

Rapid pick up said order was ready. Get to Panera, see my order behind cashiers. Waited 20 minutes till a older female employee not wearing her mask grabbed three orders including mine. Putting it on the shelf and going to get my coffee. Which she did not add my syrup that I was charged for and didn't put utensils in bag. Pizza and toasted bagel are cold as well. Not satisfied at all.
