Dj's Bar B Que

This place is a classic BBQ joint. Legend is that some of the owners of other BBQ restaurants in the area were trained at DJ's. Given how long DJ's has been here, that seems likely. The serving area appeared quite clean and the staff were very helpful. The brisket stuffed baked potato was delicious and big enough to share.

Food was great. The chopped beef sandwich or pulled pork are great. The coleslaw here is great. And the potato salad is the best I’ve ever had. Friendly service and a very clean restaurant. If you have blood pressure issues (see review below this one) maybe you shouldn’t be eating BBQ in the first place and then complaining about it and dragging a nice local establishment down with your negativity. Just sayin’.

I love BBQ, and anytime I get the chance while traveling, I seek out a local place, DJ’s is one of those places. First time here and I have to say, that the brisket, sausage, pinto beans and some of the best potato salad. Staff friendly and well worth it. So if you are visiting Lake Jackson/Clute area, stop in, you’ll be glad you did!

Haven't been to DJ's in forever but it was my turn to pick supper and decided to get Bbq. I got the spicy sausage sandwich and my Husband decided upon the brisket sandwich and we got a tub of potato salad. Talk about taking me back to when my grandmother worked there. It was definitely delicious <although the potato salad was a bit too creamy for my Love's taste but great to mine lol> Bottom line- we've decided to add DJ's to our favorite spots to get take out and can't wait to try more of the options <we were kind of unsure of what to get so we just settled on sandwiches > Thank you for a great supper
