Horrible experience!!! Bread was hard as a rock at both ends, was afraid I broke a tooth. Staff was distracted and taking my order before finishing the one before, cut bread unevenly, maybe because it couldn't be cut where it was so stale/hard. Onions on my sandwich when I didn't ask for them. Took my sandwich home and traded to normal bread just to be able to chew it. Normally have a good experience, but if the new norm is stale bread and I won't be back

This is a good sub shop chain, decorated in a Jersey Shore theme. It is familiar to me because I used to live along the Jersey Shore - they understandably don't show the general age and decayed look that much of the shore has. The sandwiches are freshly made and good, made with good ingredients, care and skill. The selection of chips and drinks is good. The facility is bright, cheery and functional. The staff is engaging, helpful and efficient. Overall, this is a good option for a sub.

My search for a great Philly cheesesteak led me to Jersey Mike’s today. I arrived over the lunch hour and the line was nearly to the door. Staff were obviously well trained and worked quickly to get everyone through. I ordered a large standard cheesesteak sandwich for my daughter and I to split and a regular chicken Philly with bacon and ranch for my other daughter, a small bag of Cheetos, and drank water for a total of $24.00. The large sandwich is approximately 12 inches long with a substantial amount of meat with melted provolone, onions, and green peppers. The melted provolone and juice from the meat drip down your chin as you attempt to devour it and the rosemary bread was perfectly toasted. This was the closest I have found to the real deal in Iowa and I will definitely be back for more.

Love this place. Would give it 5 stars but the staff deserves 1 star. The last few times I've gone in staff doesn't even bother to greet despite me being the only customer in the store. They always seem to have an attitude, making it feel like I am not welcome. Better service would make this place excellent.
