Trostel's Dish

We went to Trostel's Dish for the first time for DSM Restaurant Week and were very disappointed. I attached a picture here of what caught my attention and looked amazing in DSM magazine and a picture of what we were served. The pile served in a bowl and two pieces of shrimp appetizer were not worth the trouble. The dessert course was good and the reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one. After our lack luster meal, the waiter dropped off our ticket ($80 for restaurant week deal and two drinks, before tip). He then disappeared. We waited for at least 15 mins after we were done with our meal for him to come back and cash us out before I went up to the bar to ask for him. Another waiter went to go find him and he came and quickly apologized and took our payment. Which is fine, stuff happens, but it doesn't feel good to be forgotten about when you are paying so much for a dinner for two. Overall, it was overpriced even with the restaurant week "deal." We won't be back and I certainly can't recommend Trostel's Dish to anyone.

I tried this for the first time during their happy hour and it was great! We got a bottle of wine to split and it was half price during happy hour so it was a pretty good deal. We also got the sliders and a pizza to share. My only complaint would be that the portions are really small so I was still kind of hungry after we finished eating our food. I’ll definitely be back though.
