We had a bad experience with the other local place that's a historical Route 66 place. We asked 2 young ladies if they were local they said yes and told us to come here. The whole family was very happy. As soon as we walked in the staff and the ambience were welcoming and very friendly. Our waiter was extremely nice he had no problem refilling our drinks we just came from the water park so we were all very thirsty. The FOOD WAS AWESOME!! We will be going back next trip to the area!! Keep up the great work 👍🏽

Really great place. Huge menu with not just your basics. Our wait staff Monica was really super! They served my Modelo with a salt rim and tons of lime which was delicious.

Great little spot for some delicious grub. Super busy but I didn't see anyone having to wait long, food comes out real fast! Look into their specialties! Salsa was very tasty, guac needed a little lime/salt or something but the "house" margarita had plenty of flavor to make up for that! Recommend if you are in Clinton or passing through!

The place is a little loud noise level wise but the ambiance fits the place. Beware, draft beers are huge. Food came hot and a fair sized portion. All around everyone was pleased. I'd do it again, no problem

They were amazing!! It was valentine's day, super busy but that didn't slow them down. The waitress was amazing, the service was amazing, food/drinks was AMAZING. Perfect evening with my perfect someone and they made it happen!!

If you go anywhere else in town you messed up ! Great food, great service! The house salsa is mild but excellent mixed with their spicy salsa . I ordered the Gio special, highly recommend.

Stop in here for great Mexican food! We grabbed a bite on a road trip on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy but we got in quick and got our food quickly as well. The staff was friendly, prompt, and attentive. Everything I tasted was delicious!

Food is absolutely delicious and the service is pretty good too. My one complaint is that's it's always SO loud in Canelo's. I thought it was just because we always go when it's busy, but today we went between meal times and not only was the loud Mexican music blaring (as usual), but they had rock and roll blaring in the kitchen and so it was ridiculously loud.
Great food, but if you wanna hear your companions you should probably get it to go or go elsewhere. LOL
