Tropical Smoothie Cafe

This visit was fantastic in regards to the quality of drinks. The service was spectacular, and honestly, I enjoyed this smoothie. It wasn’t too sweet; they were perfect. Now I was going to tip, but then I remembered in the past, when I asked whether they received the tips, I was told no. I’m not sure who owns this establishment, but shame on you for collecting your hard-working employees' bonuses. When you know better you do better, give your worker their tips.

Don't usually review businesses, however I had to with this business. This is my neighborhood, smoothie Cafe, so I go here quite often which I know ask myself, why?!! Customer service overall is lacking, it always seems like nobody there is interested in providing quality service! This past Saturday, it was taking an hour to get an order!!!! It took almost 30mins to get help at the register! I am not sure who the owner is, I am praying for you because you are losing a ton of money and business!!

I was surprised at a few things on the tropical smoothie brand itself: They only offer one size except for 3 children options and that their food it pretty good. TIP: Service at this location can be pretty slow, the person on the register can have multiple jobs (cleaning, making food or smoothies) so I suggest ordering ahead online; additionally, ordering a smoothie with nuts slows down the process because they have limited (I think only 1 or 2) blenders designated for smoothies that include any nuts.

Don’t go here! The customer service is HORRIBLE. The staff don’t greet customers upon walking in the establishment. I waited 15 minutes after placing my order just for the employee to tell me they’re out of watermelon so they won’t be able to make my smoothie. She wasn’t apologetic at all and didn’t offer me anything for the inconvenience. I asked her for a mango smoothie instead and she made me a strawberry banana. I’m disgusted and will never come here. Please hire better people that actually want to work.

04/13/2022 It was 7:40 2 young ladies were working there On the receipt it stated my servers name was Nicole. THE GIRL WORKING THERE JUST SNAPPED ON ME I go in and make my order, and I’m waiting, and waiting… and waiting. I look on the counter and see a order but it’s the exact opposite of what I ordered so of course it couldn’t be mine right?? 10 minutes go by and I take a look at the order sitting in the countertop and that’s when the girl working there just went off She yelled “WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?? WHAT DO YOU WANT?? WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?? WHAT?” And she was just staring at me. I quietly said I didn’t think this was mine and left. She messed up my order completely and then yelled at me She never called my order in the first place too This organization is unprofessional and rude, prone to errors as well

I placed an online order at 7:17pm it is now 7:50pm and I do not have my order yet. There are only two young men working. They are doing their best however two people are not enough to keep up with the volume of online, Uber eats, door dash and in store customers. The management should be ashamed. Todays date is 2 April 2022. Kudos to the two young men for doing the best they could and keeping positive attitudes. I got it at 7:55pm. They need help!

I wanted to like this location because it’s close to my job very convenient.. HOWEVER customer service is garbage.. my first time I walk in after placing my order online . Never greeted no one even glanced in my direction for 5 minutes before the young man came an asked me my name .. Second time again I place my order online at 7am I get there at 7:25 .. I get something simple cheese quesadilla an a smoothie.. I get there the young lady did greet me an started on my smoothie cool no problem.. 10 min later still no food 🤷🏽‍♀️.. so I kindly ask the young lady how long she’s asks the girl making food how long they said 5 min im like so it takes 45 to make a quesadilla ummmmm the girl making Gen food seemed like she hated her job .. I’m usually not one to complain however 45 minutes seriously if you hate Va your job find another .. they weren’t busy at all ( I could see the screen ) an I find it ridiculous that I place my order well ahead of time but still have to wait so long because you don’t like making quesadillas early in the morning … I will not be going to this location. Ever can’t wait for them to open the one in Upper Marlboro

HORRIBLE. Walked in and waited an HOUR for our drinks. Ordered 3 drinks and legit stood there for an HOUR. Absolutely unacceptable!!! We will be going to another location from now on. 2 girls sitting in the back doing nothing and 2 upfront not doing drinks in order. Everyone before and after me left and we still havent gotten our drinks after saying something twice.
