Hongkong Garden

The food is amazing, the portions are excellent (especially for the price), and staff is clearly trying their best. Here’s a huge indicator of how good the food is: everyone who was there when I went was ethnically Chinese. This restaurant was an actual DESTINATION for them, bc the food is that good! Okay, I get it, the atmosphere is a little weird but it clearly used to be a dive bar in its past life. I don’t think this is the place you go to for a romantic candlelight dinner with excellent cocktails, and it feels silly that those are expectations in some of these low reviews. Just take in the amazing view and eat some good food and chuckle at how weird the place is. I’d definitely go back.

This is a weird one. The food was DELICIOUS. The service was perfect. The view is beautiful. Checks all the boxes except the atmosphere. You'd think you were going to an abandoned restaurant. Lol and the inside needs major work. Updating etc. Bathrooms are tired. But we will definitely be going back. The food and people are well worth it.

Such good food! The initial prospect on seeing the restaurant and walking in was quite disappointing but it has a great view up on a hill over the ferry terminal looking off over the Sound towards Everett. Staff was friendly, food was prompt and so tasty. Looks can be deceiving! Wish this was in our town!

Food was amazing. If you are looking for sweet and sour chicken, go to any Panda Express in any strip mall in America. If you want Chinese food, go to Hong Kong Garden. All sections of the restaurant have a great view of the water. We sat out on the patio the other end from the bar. The 51 spice fish we got was a special that we had to preorder the previous day and it’s only served weekends. Kids got the curry chicken and enjoyed it.
