Thank you so much for the staff at Bowmans! My husband and I got take out last night and it was amazing!! The server getting our food together was super friendly and even wrote notes on our boxes =) Portions did not disappoint. My husband got the brisket and she made sure he had a variety of sauces to choose from. Can't wait to be able to come back and dine in again.

We were visiting from Florida and went here to grab a large take out order. First of all this place is amazing. I can grab groceries, grab meat, eat dinner, have ice cream, and then sit at the bar watching/singing karaoke all in one fantastic one stop shop. They have a huge beer selection and the food was delicious. The only negative I have (and I was warned not to get it) is the brisket which was pretty terrible. It had ok flavor but was extremely tough and not properly trimmed. The mac and cheese, ribs, wings, pizza, corn bread, slaw and beans are all delicious. I give this place five stars, great food, great beer, great meat, karaoke and great staff. Just don't order the brisket.

I would like to have given it 5 stars ... but. With the prices they charge, and with a liquor license, I would have expected a little nicer place. Fluorescent lamps, plastic silverware aren't what I expected. The portion of ribs was large, but the mac & cheese and applesauce were served in tiny plastic cups. I would give a 3 but the service was good too.

Great place! I'd recommend it. Kinda different wide open seating arrangement but it was in a good way. Food and waitress was good. If your in the area check it out! No complaints!
Tried it for the first time tonight the chicken was tender and juicy, the BBQ sandwich was wonderful.
They have a little bit of every thing some groceries, the meat market and the good menu. Good prices.And ice cream for dessert. Try it you will be happy you made the drive to Climax. We will be going again. YUM
Excellent BBQ! Their boudin is excellent and they leave on the char and residual fat on their smoked meats for added flavor. Very reasonable prices to double order for variety and next day leftovers!
The food, Carolina gold, was delicious and generous helping. Will definitely order again and look forward to trying other menu items. Uhhhmmmm...Thursdays are karaoke night, which I enjoyed but just heads up the geriatric crowd dominates the landscape....
