Cupcake Cafe

Can be hit or miss. Sometimes the cupcakes are amazing, other times they are very bland and dry. Because of the inconsistency, is topped buying the cupcakes. The latte/cappuccino is pretty good as long as the person making it knows what they are doing. The ladies are always friendly and the device is usually pretty good.

These cupcakes are really delicious. We had the Chocolate Chip Cappuccino with Espresso filling. I don't even like Cappuccino and Espresso but it tasted excellent here! So why only 3 stars? Glad you asked. The woman working the register was not rude but rather just there and speaks so low when you ask a question. Also the metal chairs outside are so broken you can fall if you sit on several of them! Very dangerous!

I hate to give a low rating, but I just left there and ordered the crepe, hazelnut/chocolate shaving with fruit item off the menu. It was my 1st time going there so my intention was to try a cupcake. This crepe item looked too enticing though it was 5 dollars. The cupcakes were $3 something. The girl working was nice and said it was her first day and that they were out of fruit so she could replace it with ice cream. They had Jack n Jill vanilla or chocolate ice cream. I shouldve just left, but I reluctantly accepted. The ice cream was a weird taffy like consistency, the crepe was a bit rubbery and much like the ice cream and fancy chocolate shavings-- tasteless. It was obvious that none of it was fresh and it left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. I understand it's winter and this is not their specialty but what a waste of $5.

Every time I go, there are new girls who never seem to know what they're doing. Twice within four days this week, I've had two new girls take care of me and on both occasions I've had to tell them that a frappucino is not hot, the ingredients it requires, and show them where the ingredients can be found. I don't work there, so it's ridiculous that I need to do that. In addition, my drink today was made so poorly, I had to return to the cafe and ask for a refund. I'm not one to complain but this has happened on so many occasions, I'm debating whether or not I will return. Either train your workers better or don't allow them to work alone.
