Reviews of Mr. Cupcakes

I ordered for the first time today and OMG, they're cupcakes are to die for. I hope its not a hit or miss like mentioned in some comments. I usually get cupcakes for children's birthdays at House of Cupcakes on Route 3, but the ones I had from here today had more of a home made flavor. I hope they stay consistent.

I needed a cake and a large order of assorted cupcakes for a party, Jacqueline helped me place my order and was a pleasure to work with. I have to say their prices are amazing compared to local bakeries and their flavor list is endless. I did unfortunately have a slight issue with my cake order ( the design was off but it was a new cake decorator), but once I notified them of the problem they made the situation right with numerous apologies and refunding me my money for the cake. Everything tasted fantastic and I did receive several compliments on the food! I would 100% recommend Mr cupcake especially the Clifton location, I also plan to be a returning customer. Also Bravo to Jacqueline for her amazing customer service!

I love Mr. Cupcakes but they need to work on consistency. When they're fresh, their cupcakes are among the best I've ever had-- far better than Sprinkles and Crumbs. However, I've gotten cupcakes a couple times and the frosting on the red velvet was like rubber and the cupcake itself was dryer that usual. I really want this place to win because of their great cupcake flavors and recipes but NEED consistency to be successful. No one wants their cupcake spot to be a "hit or miss" type of place. Not fun.
