Excellent, Excellent, Excellent....I will definitely be going back in the near future. I tried a variety of things and they were all delicious. I started off with the Garden Salad, which was a medley of cucumbers, tomatoes and onions dressed in and olive oil and lemon dressing with fresh dill. It was so simple but very tasty. After the salad I ordered the Caucasian “Khorcho” Soup which was amazing!! I highly recommend this soup. It had a really nice full flavor and a good amount of lamb with just the right amount of rice and dill. I also had a taste of the Meat Solyanka (Sour Soup) which had a nice taste. I next order the Pelmeni Sibirsky (Russian Style Meat Dumpling) that were similar in size to tortellini. These were served with a side of fresh sour cream. The last thing I ordered was the Golupsi (Cabbage stuffed with meat in tomato/sour cream sauce) and it was excellent. The sauce was a perfect blend of tomato and cream the meat inside was tender and flavorful.

Good Russian food and very pleasant owners. If you come here for dinner, it does make sense to make a reservation. The place isn't large, but it often hosts parties and celebrations, so there may not be a table available if you just come in. Or the place could be empty, like it was when we came in last Saturday. Apparently it was full just before, when everyone was watching the Russia v Croatia World Cup match, and then after the match everyone cleared out. The prices here are pretty average.

No doubt, the best Russian restaurant in Bergen County. Simply good Russian food , the one you would expect when you visit your grandma. Their potato ravioli (Vareniki) is to die for, also the beef stroganoff and chicken stroganoff are great. If you have any space left - they make a great apple pie or cheese blintzes.
