My wife left me for another man, even though the bartender reminded me of Pedro, the “other man” yet I felt comforted by his service. He made me feel great about my loneliness. Food filled the void, drinks quieted the loud thoughts. Love that they have touch tunes!

I’ve heard the Hot Chicken sandwich here is one of the best chicken sandwiches in Cleveland and I can say it did not disappoint at all. Service was great and place has an awesome atmosphere. The Mac and cheese was really good and paired with the sandwich perfectly so well worth adding it

Classic bar look and appeal. Almost miss the place if your not looking for it. Great vibe inside and welcoming bartenders. Owner is usually here and they take great care of guests. Really nice patio and excellent daily changing specials in the kitchen. Lots of pinball and games available. Covid safe

The best of where old school meets "new" Cleveland. Get an order of hot chicken tenders (photo), a basket of fries, and a local beer on draft and enjoy the vibe. Great place to watch a game, too, if that's your thing. You can also hit the Lakefront Bikeway right across the street for great views of downtown and the lake or a lap around Edgewater Park.

Awesome old bar to check out. Cool games to play, good beer choice and very welcoming and friendly service. We could have stayed here all night drinking. Neat old building too. Our kinda place.

We were directed here by the bartender at McNamara's Pub when we were looking for the hometown pub feel, dinner and few drinks. This place did not disappoint. The food was incredible for pub fare. The hot chicken sandwich was spicy and delicious. There was even tasty food for my vegetarian sister. They offered some local craft beer as well. Fantastic little spot for a casual meal. Staff was very polite, friendly and accommodating as were the other patrons.

Stopped in for lunch at Parkview. I got the pulled pork. The pork was smoked and delicious. The raw onions were the perfect touch. I also got the house onion rings that may have been the best we have ever had. My wife got the walleye sandwich. All of our food was outstanding and our bartender was nice and helpful.

Parkview is a Cleveland classic, part of an almost forgotten breed. Its a bar. A bar with savvy bartenders, an amazing kitchen, and the best music scene in town, sure. But love it for what it is...a bar.

Not certain what other reviewers are seeking from the Park View experience, but I have found in my three visits over the past 18 months as a proud native and now visitor to Cleveland, the staff most accomodating, perhaps it is the service seeker's approach. As the subject line states it is genuine and authentic-not Applebee's at "the mall", thank God!

RUDE!!!. I came here cause someone mentioned this was the spot to be. Of course it was the complete opposite! The waitresses were horribly rude, the cooks were out in the patio having fun instead of cooking, (assuming that was reason my food didnt reach me during reasonable timing). It was only TUES! NEVER AGAIN!

Great dive. First off, people shouldn't expect 5-star service here. it's a local haunt that i'm sure is glad to have some publicity but most folks here probably couldn't care less about it and the tourists that come along with it. but still, the food is definitely worth a visit, the smoked meats (salmon, pulled pork) are great.

AWFUL!!!!. First, our service was terrible! Our waitress hardly checked on us and was rude every time she was at our table. Our appetizer and lunch came out at the same time and our food was stone cold. Because it was such a bad experience, we left a smaller tip. The next day we noticed our transaction was $3 more - the waitress added an extra $3 to her tip!! Will never return and will tell all of our friends how awful the experience was.

Feels like coming home!. Made three visits at different times and the more I go the more I like it! The food is above bar food but still lusciously made, my Bloody Mary was spicy and service was great! <br/><br/>Whoever books their musicians deserves an award! The atmosphere is cosy and warm, casual dressing and good demography.

I must admit this place was pretty good. The pork taco was good, with just the right twinge of heat. The cheesesteaks was very legit. This is ny kind of place- unpretentous with good beer cheap prices an solid fodd in a hole in the wall atmosphere. Eat here soon

Discovering Cleveland
For a two dollar cup of soup, I didn’t have the highest of expectations, so I found myself pleasantly surprised when the over-sized dish of creamy, well-seasoned, and obviously homemade chowder arrived. It was every bit as delicious as I had hoped it would be: thick and filling with the perfect blend of clam bits and potatoes and served with a side of oyster crackers.

I missed the line on the menu that informed us that "All Brunch items are served with Hash Browns" and they were just overkill with this large portion of scrambler. I barely touched them. Other than the fact that it is fake crab, the dish was overall tasty. It didn't earn itself a spot on my favorite brunch locations, but based on our first experience, I would certainly go back. The portions are also huge for the price point.<br/>
