Okay, so my second visit was just a nice as the 1st, but the food was better. Not that the food wasn’t good the 1st time, it was just later in the day, and the week before Christmas. But I digress. The views are great the staff is polite and the food is always great. The atmosphere is nice too. I just know in the summer this place is so packed with all the regular, it’s sunny money, crowed, you can’t even enjoy. But none the less this is a great seafood place with all the Lake Erie and stinky Cuyahoga river ya want.
I had one of the most enjoyable experiences today at this restaurant. Food was amazing, coconut cheesecake was the best I've ever had and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Kudos to the waitstaff (especially our server). I am not of the price bracket that I can come often, but I will certainly be back. Keep it up!

This oyster place has totally captured my heart... I am totally in love with it...
My husband and I went there for our anniversary and came out with some good memories and great experiences. I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Fresh oysters are available at a reasonable price, and they are of good quality.
It's such a great view, so I am so happy we are here before winter comes, so we can enjoy the sun on the balcony as much as possible.
Friendly and helpful staff with a strong focus on customer service.
Definitely, we are going to be back again.

This place is great and has an astonishing view of the River from the patio. The food is far from best that we tried, but the restaurant is fancy, somewhat high-end. Overall, we enjoyed the visit while passing through Cleveland, and there is really nothing to complain about. Also, the waitress was very nice, attentive, and friendly.
We really enjoyed dining here. The food, the ambiance and the service were excellent. There was live music the night we went and it added nicely to the overall experience. Definitely want to return sometime again.

I decided to celebrate my baby shower at Alley Cat and I am very happy I went with this venue.
Venue, delivery and staff overcame all expectations
- prix fixe menu options were delicious and left all guests satisfied with their selections
- sunset room offers enough space for up to 45-60 people depending on seating or reception style and balcony with incredible views on water.
- Alina, event organizer is a skilled professional, proactive and knowledgeable about ins and outs of preparation for the party of any size and caters to needs of each customer and their vision with patience and determination
- entire staff was incredibly helpful in putting bits and pieces of party together in short period of time, starting from folding napkins and dessert set up, decorating to installing equipment for live musicians and even helping me to set up vases and flower arrangements
Superb team, delicious meal and unbeatable window views. Sincerely recommend to throw your next party at Alley Cat, it will be an event to remember.

The food was delicious and perfect portion.
I ordered the grouper dinner, so fresh and cooked to perfection. If you're ever in Cleveland, visit The Flats area and eat here, Alley Cat Oyster Bar.
Food here was just ok to me.
My favorite was the raw oysters and mussels.
I ordered tuna poke for my entree. It had a weird taste to me.
Atmosphere was nice though on a Sunday afternoon.
All the desserts were delicious!
The view was really nice and relaxing. Strawberry lemonade with jalapeño purée was okay. Things that went bad: French fries were over cooked and poke bowl with spicy tuna was not up to par. The tuna was plain. The ally cat sauce taste like Big Mac sauce. The only thing that were good was the clam chowder, Cesar salad and Michelob Ultra. Not a rerun place for me.
I love dining at the Alleycat patio with the view of the beautiful river. They have the Freshest oysters and tasty handcrafted cocktails.
The salmon was perfect, the sides were just ok. The appetizers were pretty good but the oysters Rockefeller were very salty (I've never had them before though). The salad was lovely. The martini was perfectly crafted!
The lobster Mac is so good. I did no shrimp plus lobster and it finished off the taste wonderfully. The cats pajamas and kittens pajamas for the non drinkers are refreshing. The walleye was also good but pepper heavy and needed some salt so season accordingly. The rooftop patio is the place to go for sure.
Mike Spano and team made our rehearsal dinner so beautiful and special. We loved their professionalism, coordination, and execution to make the night so memorable. The food was outstanding and many of our out of town guests complimented the venue space (with the private patio) and location. The entire staff even stayed late to make sure everyone was well fed. Thank you so much!
Great spot on the water in the Flats! We had a great time here. We only had some raw oysters and a few drinks, but everything was good! The rooftop is a good spot to hang out if the weather is nice. Can’t wait to go back!
Such a great place with a nice view of the flats & river. Food & drinks are great!! I've only been here on Sundays for brunch & it's been great every time.
Lobster mac was amazing,, whole fish was so so, fish time having oysters and the staff was very informative/fun about it. Great place for cocktails/beer with oysters and a view.
The food is always fresh and delicious however the hostess Danny was very rude and unpleasant. I had a reservation, I arrived on time and once I inquired about table seating options she dismissed me as though she had no care about my reservation or anything I was saying for that matter. It made feel very uncomfortable, thankfully another hostess was there to help. She found a nice table on the patio and seated me right away. The server lacked enthusiasm but she was efficient nonetheless. Yummy oysters!
Above and beyond! My partner and I tried Alley Cat for the first time when we saw their Valentine’s Day special. We were blown away by every course. Incredible quality, portion size, and presentation for the price. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was classy without feeling too formal, and the view was beautiful. We’ll definitely be returning.
This place has some great drinks, good environment and great food! The lobster roll was on my top 5 in Cleveland. The outdoor seating could use bug repellent and a heating torch set up. Cant wait to dine again!
All four members of our party agree this was 5 stars. Logan was a phenomenal witness. She was attentive without being overbearing. She even noticed one person lost their fork to the busser and replaced it. The oysters were amazing and they even let us know which were which - so uncommon. The food was so good too. We got the mussels, Nashville shrimp, middle neck clams, lobster Mac, and the lobster roll. Absolutely no complaints. Let's not forget the music was perfect too!
