4 Paws American Pub

We absolutely love this place! The servers are very attentive! The manager is always great, and we enjoy our frequent visits here. We did just witness an awful customer who seemed to complain about everything despite the way the server took care of them. The food looked great (as always), but the customer could not be made happy. Check out 4 Paws!

Our first time there. We ordered the pretzels and beer cheese for an appetizer. My wife had the fish and chips. I had the philly cheese steak. The pretzels and beer cheese were good but they didn't bring us any plates so we had to eat them on napkins. The waitress was very inattentive. She was busy talking to friends. She actually sat in the both. It took ten minutes to get a cup of ice. My philly was supposed to be on a toasted hoagie and it wasn't. I asked for mayonnaise and she brought me one packet, only one. My wife's fish was over cooked , dark brown and over crispy. The waitress didn't check on us until my wife was finished and I didn't finish half of mine because I needed more mayo. I spoke with a manager. He took my philly off the bill, but he didn't seem to care about the customer service.

This restaurant is decent but I wouldn't rush back. I enjoyed the beer I chose and the fried mushroom appetizer, but I was not impressed with the shrimp and grits entree. My husband got nachos and said they were okay but not great. All in all, I would return for a few beers, but this would not be my first choice in Clemson for a meal.
