Completely changed their service. Menu kind of excludes lots of dishes that are delicious. So the rest of the menu can be cooked by anyone else. This loses authentic flavor of the Korean food. The size of the bowl is much smaller than it used to be, which is really inconvenient and too expensive at this size. And the mushroom in the bowl is uncut at all, which surprises me...

The food was hot and delicious and the staff was nice. They have an extensive menu with lots of combinations. I got The Tiger - spicy pork, kimchi, and avocado over fried rice with an egg on top. Prices are a little steep at $8-$10 a bowl, but the food was great.

The food was really good. It was very self serve. You place your own order on an iPad (which proved to be a little tricky for my friend who I teased and have now immortalized in this review). I had to go to the cooler to get my own drink. I wasn't expecting that but I didn't mind. For first time guests, they may find the experience a little confusing but will be a pro the next time. Again, the food was very good. I'll be back again.

Authentic and Delicious. Ingredients and kitchen are all within view of the front counter. Everything appears to be brought in daily. Small place and only one cook but that's part of the charm. Food was great and I will be going back as much as I can.

Super confused as I entered this restaurant. On Google maps it shows this place as a Korean rice bowl restaurant. The only pictures online are of Korean rice bowls, so we made the assumption that we would go there and order a rice bowl. Well....we assumed wrong because we went in and the menu was pizza! Nothing to do with Korean rice bowls. They might want to update the pictures on Google to show pizza instead. We left because we weren't in the mood for pizza. That was a bit of a disappointment, but who knows maybe we will give it a try sometime. Please change your Google pictures to show this as a pizza restaurant. We specifically drove out of the way and past quite a few restaurants to go here.

I used to love this place but there is something odd about it now. Did they change owners or something? I feel like the red sauce is just Siracha now, the caramelized onions are a very odd flavor, some of the meat is very oddly cooked (pork belly is still delicious though) and the apricot tea was dense like there's a tiny bit of gelatin in it. I don't know what makes liquid thick but it was unappetizing even though the flavor was still really good. I hate to give two stars but I honestly feel like it's a not worth the price anymore. $3 for two dumplings that seemed straight from a frozen gyoza bag at the grocery store? The new way to pay for your food is inefficient when they are busy or when there is more than two people in a group ordering together. They blast weird music now and have filled the ordering spot with these wierd stickers with odd phrases. "His staff and his rod?" People bring their kids here. Something has changed about the place and not in a good way.

While Yolk closing in Clemson was sad, New Yolk does not disappoint. This restaurant is not the same rice bowls we were familiar with, but the food is just as delicious. New Yolk does pizza, and they do it well. Please check this place out! You’ll find remnants of Yolk but the artistry and flavor of New Yolk won’t disappoint.
