Mountain Fried Chicken

Some of the best chicken around! Great portions and friendly Staff. Bad thing is the Place is really old looking and barely had a Rating in the 90's. Owners really need to do some work to bring the appearance of the place up to the standard of the food. People would be more inclined to eat in if it looked better. Fix the floors, Ceilings, Paint, I mean a new trash can would be a good start lol! I know you wonder if it looks this bad why eat there? I don't know, it's just really really good and I get in and get out! But if you can get past the appearance you won't be disappointed.

The service here is the best! They have my favorite fried chicken and the potato wedges can't be beat. Other beloved side dishes are the tomato-based mac & cheese and the spiced apples. My husband loves the yams and pinto beans. Now they serve homemade lemonade as well. If you're in the area, be sure to stop here. It's excellent take-home food, always served hot, fresh, and promptly.

We've eaten there before and it was good. But, on 12/17/2017, it was a different story. We had 4 take out orders. We waited 25 minutes meanwhile, 15 cars went through the drive through with no problems. When we got home, 2 orders of chicken fingers were laughable. Three of the fingers in each order were less than 3 inches long along with a miniscule drum stick. Why didn't they tell us they didn't have any and we would have ordered something else? Will not be going back.

The food is absolutely amazing and as far as fried chocken goes, well priced. It's just like the chicken your grandma would make and the tater wedges are awesome. The employees are very friendly. The only problems I've had with the place are pretty outrageous wait times in the drive-thru, but the food almost makes it worth it.
