Kimono Japanese Restaurant

Food was only okay but not horrible. Main issue was server who was probably the worst I have ever seen. He was very awkward and didnt understand even the basics of waiting on a table. I had to remind him several times about everything. We had to ask for silverware, then napkins, then plates, then lemon for my water, then soy sauce, etc. Each item was requested multiple times. He didn't even take our order correctly. He charged us for a sushi roll which didn't exist. The manager was even confused by him. I do not recommend.

Service was terrible! This used to be one of my favorite places. Server seemed less than interested to be there let alone having customers. Sushi was not what I wanted (what I wanted is pictured) and see those nice plates? Nope. None of that either... Shrimp was tiny and overcooked, chicken was dry... Steak was ok. The first round of drinks were ok, had to flag down server for refills, to which he brought some orangish tea, so those with tea had to switch. Water was spilt on the table, no apologies or offer to clean up or towel to do so. We were all very excited (it was most of my immediate family, no children... 8 people in total) no one was satisfied and the bill was close to $140. My once favorite place is no more and I will not be going back. Pictures posted are from 2+years ago and the food (and service) couldn't have been further from tonight's.

We called in an order and while we were waiting in line to pick up our food another customer, ahead of us who had been waiting quite a while, told the older man handling the take out orders that they had just lost a customer and to my shock the older man replied with, " I don't care. It doesn't hurt me at all". I won't be going back.

Service was horrible and racist. At 1st I thought it was because of covid cause he didn't want to take the quarter out of my hand and then place my change on the counter. But when he brought mine and another customer's food out, he handed the white lady her food , was standing right next to me but places mines in the counter. I will never go back there again. This was my 2nd time eating there but 1st time ever experiencing this. When I called his attention on it he wanted to play dumb and didn't know any English. I will be spreading the word and giving bad reviews every chance I get.
