First Wok Chinese Restaurant

This is located in a local hole in the wall 4th rate shopping plaza, Asian take out restaurant . Food is home style and constantly good. Been eating from here for years, a long time and never had a issue. Never got sick . We always order the same thing and you get a lot of value for your money. They always know who are when we call in our order. Cash only business. Might be a little dirty appearance but that's just extra flavor enhancement and a little side benefit so once you get past that the food is really good. Seafood combo has really nice large shrimp and other types fish cake in it along with large scallops. They're always open and a good family to go restaurant. And if you hang out long enough you might learn a little bit of Chinese when things get exciting in the kitchen and they start yelling at each other.

First time visit. Due to covid, all orders are take-out, which is not a problem for us. You can watch them prepare the food through the glass wall which separates everyone from the kitchen. Language was a slight problem for us to understand them but we eventually got it worked out. I got the Shrimp Mein Fun, pictured, and the portion size was very large...worth the price paid! The flavor was good but just a little dry on the main fun but I enjoyed the egg roll very much. I didn't care for the rice though. Overall I will come back again and try another dish.

They only take cash and the food was not very flavorful. It was also very expensive for what we got and we were shocked that they only took cash for that much. You have to put the money in a little window for them to accept it. Maybe that helps with Covid concerns, though. It took a really long time to wait for it too! It feels odd with everything closed off inside and the pictures on the wall being oddly colored to where you can't tell what the food looks like. We thought we'd take a try, but I don't think we will be back.

The food here is spectacular! A bit expensive considering it's 'take-out' but we'll worth it. I'd rather get great take-out food here than get crummy food at a sit-down restaurant for the same price range. I must admit, the gal who always takes our order is VERY stingy with the sauces. She gives 1 packet per meal & when you ask for more, she gives you 1 more. Not cool considering we drop $100 in there every time we go. We are only feeding 3 people so it's not like we are asking for a lot, just enough to make it through our meal + the side of 6 egg rolls we always get. Stop being stingy with the sauce packets & I'll give you 5☆!

It works for what it is. Skimpy on meats and vegetables. Valuewise, its the best you will find. It's cash-only and that is annoying but they do take check so that's an alternative solution. The Covid process is rather extreme but its not a hindrance either. Language can be an issue when ordering/picking up (everything is off phone #) and it can come off rude occasionally. Lastly, there is no egg in the fried rice...which is normally common everywhere and I don't like but it hasn't stopped me from eating here.
