Starbucks

There's usually always a line here as it's only 1 of 2 Starbucks in all of the Clearwater Beach peninsula. The Baristas are calm and collective and in no rush at all since this Starbucks is owned by the hotel, which is all the floors above this Starbucks. It could take up to 15 minutes to order and the same, another 10-15 minutes to pick up your order as this Starbuck's entrance is on the street side and open to the hundreds of beach-goers and walkers-by. However, there is seating while you wait to pick up your order. Since this Starbucks is owned by the hotel you can't get your free drink using Starbucks rewards points but you will get points for ordering food and merchandise. There's usually always seating available here for couples or singles at 2-seat round tables which is behind the bookcase merchandise display wall. Computer users can work back here and there's a long table for a group gathering which could sometimes get noisy. Sadly, I had never been disappointed with Starbucks until I came here. I was happily eating a small personal pizza I obtained from across the street and was eating it halfway and out of the view of most customers when an overweight manager lady came by and told me to go eat outside. So I stood right on the steps of the entrance to Starbucks eating my pizza, where everyone could see. I usually order food at Starbucks like breakfast sandwiches and it was time for lunch and so I wanted to try the pizza from across the street for the 1st time. I found it very rude and uncalled for that this miserable lady interrupted my lunch no matter what I was eating. I am a 10-year+ Starbucks gold card member and spend many hours on my pc at Starbucks. I have never been treated this way at any Starbucks before.

So this Starbucks is next to the beach in Clearwater. They're very fast with the drinks and a very friendly group of staff members that work here. I had no issues with any of my drinks or service with this facility and if you're in the area on this particular road strip I would recommend stopping in and grabbing a nice cup of coffee of Starbucks quality.

We walked about 1 mile to get to this particular Starbucks. We arrived at 7:27pm. They locked the door and shut the light off on us at the door. They close at 8:00pm. There were a few other people at the door with us and nobody knew why they locked us out. VERY disappointed in this staff and management. Absolutely horrible for Starbucks. I am posting this at 7:43pm. The store is still not supposed to be closed.
