Love it best service and margaritas in Clearwater,we where looking for good drinks and food went to fancy places with no flavor, come here and wow we just love it ,by the way they open late
On vacation. My mother is a burger whore and myself, I go for pasta.
I got the chicken fettuccine alfredo and she did the build your own burger.
When the food came out, my pasta plate was so huge, filled with pasta and I think I died right then. It was so good. I just ate the leftovers- and you know pasta reheated- usually turns into melted butter (and I was still excited) but it didn't. It was just as creamy and good as it was fresh. She loved her burger and fries too. I can't believe all the bad reviews, and I hate that, but our experience was amazing. We're planning on going back- maybe a few times on our week vacation!
Pricy but worth it. We chose to go with fried oysters and were very happy with the serving size and quality! Pretty good service, inside or outside seating, and good music playing (stereo). Great fun atmosphere! Try it out if you get a chance!
Our server was very attentive and the food came
out very fast. I had the lobster and it was very appetizing, however my fiancé had the fried shrimp dinner and the only appetizing thing on his plate was the French fries. The shrimp had a strange taste that we could not put our finger on. At first, we thought it was the breading but it was the shrimp. Also, the coleslaw tasted as if it was frozen bitten. Maybe they had a bad day in the kitchen so try them for yourselves and rate.
Middle-earth worthy. The situation was dire, 9 college students navigating the balmy Clearwater landscape Friday evening at 8pm in search of a restaurant worthy of an epic spring break farewell dinner; it was "The fellowship of the spring."
After week frought with college-budget close accommodations, gut-wrenching public displays of couples' affection, and questionable hookups, tensions were running high. The day of miserable plan coordination, packed beaches, and traffic was trying.
The group happened upon the buzzing Toucan's Bar and Grill. The hostess who's name is lost to the sands of dried bathing suit pockets, upon hearing the quantity of our large party replied with angelic words unto our hardened ears: "5 minutes." The group uttered a collective exclaim of surprise, relief, and could it be excitement? The group entered the public house a mere minute later to find 3 employees hurriedly clearing a 9 person hightop. The typical unanimous collegiate order of Waters were distributed round. The waiter recommended the prime rib seasoned and blackened rather than the traditional aus jus. Recent outcomes inspired the young man to entertain such a recommendation. Orders were placed.
The atmosphere was relaxed with classic rock playing over the bass heavy sound system and college basketball tournaments illuminating televisions.
One of the group thirsted for a frothy youth beverage. Unable to attract the attention of the waiter, he ventured to the fully stocked bar where a friendly bartender assisted him in finding a reasonably priced local apa.
The house fries ordered as an appetizer appeared. Their buttery yet crispy texture complimented the cheesy topping to many a wide-eyed traveler.
Dishes were then dispatched promptly and concurrently to all in the group.
The seasoned and blackened prime rib was absolutely phenomenal, Mashed potatoes were textured and full bodied, but a bit bland. Broccoli was well cooked but also bland.
Bills came in a timely manner. A craft beer, cabernet, appetizer, and prime rib totaled $42 including mandatory 18% large party tip.
Before departure the fellowship raised gifted plastic water cups to toast a simply sublime week of fraternization, reunion, and shenanigans.
Job well done Toucan's.
The best food in Clearwater beach. Is hard to believe how some people are rude in what they saying and complying about everything...I am going to Toucan's almost every week and i can say that is one of the best places on Clearwater beach where you can have fun with your friends or your family, the food is always good and the service is the best...I love that place and i recommend it to everybody.

Went on a really busy night and they did a decent job of taking care of us. Grouper Sandwich was better than Frenchy's !
Sports bar environment. We've been there several times & the staff is excellent. The menu is diverse & the chicken sandwich is amazing. Great place to grab a beer & meal.
