El Loro

I really love this place because it has great plus great drinks and an awesome staff. These are the best small businesses that we need to support or the only thing we we have left is McDonald's. I do love farms but I don't approve of what McDonald's has done to farms in general. This is the type of small business that actually works for your approval.

I came to Clear Lake with stories about how this place had negative qualities which included the following: slow service; average food; and subpar environment. Our group of 12 shows up on a Friday night and we received service few could dream of. This was on top of food that was better than expected. I’m not a big leftover guy but I regret NOT taking leftovers home. I was rummaging through hotel fridges of those who had leftovers in order to get one more taste of what happened in that kitchen. Tonight we came back for round 2 so that I could bring some deliciousness back home. Thank you El Loro.

It was close to our hotel and one of the ladies had been waiting Mexican food for over a week so I said let's go. I apologized to our crew a thousand times because the food wasn't good and the server was completely miserable and unkind to other Spanish speaking nationalities that was in our group. To everyone else sge wad fine but clearly has issues with others of a Spanish back ground not related to hers. That's sad when you hate other for no reason what so ever. I don't recommend this place for service or good quality food.
